I brought home this beauty in Dec. and believe the first spot had too bright/ direct light because a leaf dropped and another tip burnt. I moved it and have since had a new leaf but still feel like she could be happier? I just got this greg and the app says it should be closer to a window (it’s now 6 ft from an east facing window). Would this grow light help or be too much? This is the dimmest setting, if anyone has tips before I start using it I would hate to backtrack any progress I’ve made so far! #Philodendron #PrinceofOrange

Good morning 🌄 or evening! I was gifted this beautiful plant for Christmas. On the plant tag it's named Calathea de Makoy and is recommended medium light. She's between 2 grow lights...about 10 feet and is thriving. Curious 🤔. What name is correct?

Is this a Prince of Orange? My amateur eye thinks it is but it was labelled McColley’s Finale. It hasn’t opened a new leaf in a couple of months but the last leaf was a bright pinky orange

I had to split my #PhilodendronPrinceofOrange into two pots because he was getting SO big and I noticed red roots poking out of the pot and realized it was getting crowded in there! So here is the smaller portion, tucked into her new digs (get it? 😆) and now her new leaf is showcased and not competing for attention with Giorgio’s giant new leaves! I want to point out the cool splotch/variegated part on the top left part of her newest leaf—I’m excited to see how that progresses as the leaf changes color.
