#Aglaonema Discussion

This is a long one…. It has been a rough year. We have had one or both of my parents living with my husband and I since April. We were the primary caregivers for my mother who is living with dementia until I was able to get her on Medicaid and moved into a memory care facility. We were my father’s primary caregivers while he dealt with an infection that involved 4 surgeries, a month in the hospital and 2 weeks of inpatient rehab before he moved in with us. The week after moving mom to memory care I tripped over the dog’s water dish and fell in the kitchen fracturing a vertebrae in my lower back. All that to say that I have not been active for a while but I have been present and seeing this community interact and support each other has done my heart such good! For a long time now it was all I could to even water my plants on a schedule and seeing people in this community like my moments made me smile! Thank you to all of you for who you are and what you do, just by being yourselves! Oh and bonus! I finally felt like I could add some new babies to my home and I picked up a wishlist plant from Sam’s Club, on sale left over from their October pink plant promotion! #luckygirl I finally had time to pot up most of my new starter plants before I head to Fort Worth TX to surprise my daughter for her 40th birthday. It is a lovely 85 degrees in SoCal and I’ve been outside all morning repotting away. I added 3 more #Aglaonema to my collection (White Splash, Pictum Tricolor and Tiger Red) a plus trailing plum color Coleus, and a new snake plant for one of the girls at my vets office. Her kitties killed the first one I gave her so I told her I’d bring her a new one. #HappyPlants #PetsAndPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #PLANTMAFIA #PlantTherapy. I’m new to this guys so patience please. When I went to take a picture of this plant, what were all the little bug looking things floating around in the picture frame?

My stem is retaining water visibly on the center, has become thinner, yellowish and is starting to bent. She is watered once weekly. Is on an eight inch pot with regular soil and perlite. What should I do to rescue her?
