So, up for a repot today is the syngonium pixie that’s been cruising along, poppin out new leaves and doing good planty type things in general. But the rolling-smoosh test when I got this one told me he was pretty pot bound or compacted and after a couple weeks of good growth the media started doming in the centre and out of the pot. I didn’t take pics at the time but when I wiggled him out there was zero media in the bottom of the pot, all roots and air!! And dear lord they’re gorgeous 🤩🤩 it’s tempting to put this guy into full water culture….That wasn’t the original plan, he has a nice clean pot and new media allllll ready to go! 🥺 and being syngonium he will do fine in a water culture…. For tonight he’s chilling in a little water to try and loosen the rest of the old media and I will decide tomorrow…. Seriously though 😍🤔 oh!! The tiny pot beside the vase is where all that rooty goodness was packed 😳 I’m not even sure I could get him back in it tbh. Kinda makes the name sooooo much more appropriate though 🤪
