#Ficus Discussion

I'm having a hard time identifying this plant. I think maybe because it's not very healthy. I don't know how to help it if I don't know what it is. Weeping fig looks similar... anyone have any ideas?

Uh oh. Brown spots

What are these pests and how do I get rid of them?

Life has been a giant fiasco recently, for my kids, myself, and the plants. We moved houses & got grow lights due to no natural light. We watched a dog for a few days and she knocked over shelves of plants, pulled lights off the wall, and even toppled a plant that was hanging on the wall - multiple plants were lost but a few were saved. The new house proved to be an unsafe environment due to other occupants, even though it was my own family. We left abruptly with no real place to go and after a little while my kids and I (and ๐Ÿชด) have our own, safe, place again. The kids are happy again, which is fantastic. Iโ€™m seeing a LOT of new growth on majority of my plants, which makes me happy. Iโ€™m especially excited about this new little leaf, though ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿผ im hoping for some color variegation. This guy is a yellow gem ficus that I ended up getting for $1 with a weird cash register fluke. He was absolutely stunning, but ended up losing most of his older leaves and was left with the semi recent growth of solid green ones. I really meant for this to be a ๐Ÿชด post, butโ€ฆ seems I needed to get that out. Thanks for listening!

#RubberPlant #Ficus my over-zealous Messi (as I call my plant). The new growth fascinates me plus.. the one looks like a two-for-one. #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #NewGrowth #PlantTherapy #GrowLights #
