Massive WaxPlant at my hairdressers. I only noticed it because the vines were literally circling the whole room!! I tried to include images showing it hanging across. I’ve never seen one this big before, with so many flowers!! #WaxPlant #HappyPlants

I was talking to Jon on the phone for well over an hour yesterday and he enlightened me on one thing I wanted and thought I needed to share with everyone. #ljplantnursery The best time of day to repot your plants is of the evening. I honestly didn’t know that. Me beingg the curious person I am I had to find out why. Some of you may already know this. THIS ONE WE ALL PRETTY MUCH KNOW: Spring is ideal for repotting a houseplant. Plants often go dormant in the winter and begin growing again as daylight hours increase in the spring. Repotting gives them the room they need to grow. But that doesn’t mean you have to wait for spring. If a plant is showing signs of stress or poor health, go ahead and repot any time of year. THIS I DIDN’T KNOW: Try to repot in the evening if possible. “At night, in the absence of bright sunlight, the plant’s metabolism slows down, so it has a chance to recover from repotting stress,”. #whentorepotaplant

What is wrong with my Hoya Lisa? The vine coming out between the leaves turns brown and dries out. Is it under watered?? Other plant diagnostic apps say it looks healthy but the vine is dry and brittle and breaks as it climbs…

Scored this #krimsonprincesshoya today at Lowe's. I know I know #plantfast but it had no catchpot or price and I was curious how much they would try to charge me for it. After about 30 minutes of them running from this one to that one they came up with $6! For a 6 inch pot!I jumped on it!! I didn't even realize it was a #krimsonprincess until @dreamlettuce told me! Which made me realize my other hoya that I had labeled as simply a #waxplant is also the same plant! Next week I'll probably put them together in a larger pot.
