The “TC mix” is more small root friendly. I’ve also invested in the #Arber bio fungicide (& insecticide), after comparing it to the other top brands. So far, so good! Now I have plenty of plants to baby and obsess over so I don’t over care for my more mature plants. These all have homes already. I just got back from a trip to Disney World and in EPCOT they were selling tissue cultured plants that they grew in the Living with the Land exhibit. I grabbed a Venus fly trap and a sundew. They are so cute! I need to get sphagnum moss to plant them in once I open up their jars. The pink banana Musa lost all roots when I washed the agar off about 8 weeks ago. Now it’s root bound! I repotted that one to a 3” pot. The jungle fever and red Anderson are working on foliage rather than roots, they’ve been losing and gaining leaves like crazy but they don’t have a ton of roots. Those two were repotted back into the seed tray but I replaced the potting medium to regular airoid soil.
