Hey plant lovers! I’ve been searching for the alocasia Amazonia ‘bambino’ but could not find a legitimate seller! So, I went to perch (my favorite store) and saw a alocasia Polly which are VERY close to bambino! Perch never disappoints me. Here are some of the things I saw as well and wanted! For 72 dollars I saw a queen anthurium (A. Waroquenum) that was HUGE! I would have impulsively bought it ONLY if I didn’t know the problems with this plant (humidity, temp, etc.) which I do not have the perfect conditions. Saw a ROF philo and actually a couple, which they are cool! I love Jess’s (perches owner) pothos wall which never disappoints, and saw a cebu blue pothos but since it’s that silvery blue color that so many of my plants have I didnt buy. Ficus selection today was good, saw tineke Audrey and fiddle leaf which was cool! I saw a cool A. Magnificum x silver blush in the humidity box which was AWESOME but was 50 dollars ☠️ in there saw a anthurium clarinervium which was 40 dollars not bad and a monstera Thai con which was 50, so not that bad. Saw a lot of singonuims and cathlea! I saw painted lady philodendron and tons more! Got all but one of my new birthday plants potted up in their new homes yesterday! 🪴 I also haven’t showed you guys my project I have been working on with my shells I brought back from the beach recently. I put them on two of my pots & a plant stand using super glue. I really like how they came out & it was fun to fit them together like a puzzle! I decided to put my Gasteraloe ‘D Tiga’ in one & my Haworthia Angustifolia in the other. I also potted my pink Syngonium in a pot with a watering tray so it evenly waters it, & also let it spend some time next to the humidifier today. I love the colors! 🌸 Lastly, I repotted my Speckled Hoya Carnosa & my Black Cardinal Philodendron. You guys I might need some ID help with some of these succulents I ordered from MCG!!! I got the Rare/Unique pack that came with a free mystery pack! I know what most of the rare/unique ones are, the only one I’m not sure of is the little cluster of pachyveria (?) looking ones on the bottom right in the second picture. And as for the mystery pack which seems to be an ice plant and possibly a jelly bean type plant and a bunch of gorgeous echeverias, I’m lost! 🤷🏻‍♀️ Also here’s a pic of me and my mom’s dog Niko🐾 at her annual luau “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” party over the weekend. It was so fun as usual! Hi, friends! I’ve been so MIA lately, I’m sorry! Been fighting thrips off, heavy casualties, mostly succulents 😭😭😭 but it’s finally starting to work and I haven’t seen a thrip in many days now. Going to continue treatment for three more weeks per instructions to make sure they are ALL GONE. Hate them so much! Silver lining: they killed so many of my plants that I now have a large deficit and that means I get to go plant shopping when this is all over, right?? 🤞🏻🛍️🪴 Anyway here are some recent pics. New leaves on albo syngo and philodendron billitiae, 🐞 friend on my green unicorn alocasia and my VSOH is getting SO LONG!! Happy Tuesday to all #brunchataudreys plant 🪴 parents 🧑‍🌾 !!! It’s a cool, cloudy ☁️ morning here in SoCA. Greg claims lots of plants 🪴 🪴 need 💦 today but with this foggy weather lately I doubt few will actually need it. Anyway first up is a little pot of propagated SOD🐬 🐬🐬🐬. I hate to throw cuttings out so I’ve got a few SOD’s around the house. This one in a bright, southern window about 5 feet away seems to be happiest. Best color and chonky little 🐬 🐬🐬🐬 👏. 2nd is new leaf on Panda 🐼 syngonium 🥹🥰. Next is teeny SOP pot with SOP cuttings from momma 🪴. Silver Dragon 🐉 has lots of baby leaves poking through the older leaves 👶 🌱. Lastly the anthurium bakeri with 2 flower stalks. Last time it bloomed/went to seed I harvested them and got about 12. They’re all in 2” pots now.
