Happy Thursday #GregGang Hey guys… 😬- I missed #WhereIsWhatTheSuccWednesday & #WhatTheSuccWednesday yesterday, so I’ll just be posting some succulents for this weeks post! But please share your succulent & cacti activities in the comments! 🌿1-2: my dusty rose echeveria that had started growing to new bloom stalks since bringing her home. She already had one when I got her and it was stunning! 3: African Milkbush is loving its spot outside right now, it gets morning sun and afternoon shade. It has for sure grown quite a bit 😍 it’s easily become one of my favorites. 4. My Newest Snake plant, (I shared her with you guys last week, when she grew her first pup) is growing faster then I thought, the pup has almost trippled in size. 5. A recent repot of my spring jade sedeveria that has been giving me a hard time for some reason 😩 idk what it wants these days. Less sun? More water? No matter how much I water it the leaves are wrinkly, but it seems healthy otherwise and continues too grow offsets. Does it need less sun? I keep it outside in pretty much full sun. Hey #greggers, check out this new leaf on my pachyveria, it's got a weird pointy growth. At first I thought it might be like some type of bug egg or something but, it's the same color as the rest of the leaves and even has the pink tip like the others. Sunday night roundup: 1. My #philodendron Paraiso verde has the prettiest new leaf 🌿 2. I was a little bit scared to get a #StringOfPearls because of their reputation for being a bit fussy, but mine is thriving! The strings have grown so long already 😍 Definitely happy I took the risk. 3. My older #PeaceLily started as a division from my mom’s, so it’s a bit sentimental to me. I’m not great at getting it to bloom (I don’t think I have the best light for her) but here’s her lovely new spathe 🥰 4 & 5. I recently found a #FrizzleSizzle at the grocery store for $7.99. Couldn’t turn it down. I didn’t know they bloomed! I’m stoked 🤗🌼 Hope everyone has a wonderful week. I’m trying to fight off the Sunday Sads, dreading the week ahead 🤦🏻‍♀️ lol But it will all be okay. #succsunday 🤗🌿 Got to update some plant photos on my oasis, we had a lot of rain this week. I had too move some plants into a dry area because it was getting to wet, and ended up rotting a couple succulents last week, 😪. 1. Variegated ‘Elephant Bush’, she has really filled out since repotting her. 2. Sempervivum doing good in the landscape so far. It’s planted into the ground in a rocky full sun bed. 3. Stonecrop & ‘Golden Sedum’, the stonecrop is basically taking over the planter lol 😳 4. Smooth Prickly Pear Cactus, I got to repot this about two days ago into a new hanging planter. I repotted about two months ago but it was already time for another repot. 🪴 fun fact about this plant- my boyfriend brought this home from work, one of his jobs he found this volunteer cactus just growing randomly in some pine straw, so he dug it up & brought it home to me 🤗 it has trippled in size since then! 5. ‘Five Stamen’ Graptopetalum, a slow grower but very pretty! Happy #FreshLeafFriday everyone!! Thank goodness the weekend is finally here. It was a longgg week. It’s been extremely hot, & on top of that the storms & rain have caused a lot of chaos in the area. I got to repot two plants today, the first photo is one of them, my Bromeliad. Its middle has changed colors from Yellow to an Orange-ish, Red color. It has 4-5 babies (second photo) that are getting bigger by the day, 😊🪴 I also got to repot my SOH but haven’t gotten a photo yet. 3&4. Waikiki Elephant Ears are doing great they have grown a lot since I got it, and have produced so many babies! I love the coloring on them. 🌿 5. My African Milk Tree is really starting to fill out, and seems to like its spot right now. It’s one of my favorite plants for sure. As promised, I’m giving yall our very much missed & loved #WhatTheSuccWednesday ! 🪴💚 1. @gothgardener Has a beautiful cactus/succulent arrangement throwing some beautiful color combinations for our eyes to feast on 😍😍 that gymno is definitely going on my wishlist! 2. @nave with some beautiful Andromischus blooms 🌿 what a unique plant & flower 🤗 I think it’s the first Andromischus bloom I’ve ever seen on Greg, so I was super intrigued especially since the Andromischus genus are one of my favorites! 🙌🏻 3. @princesspitstop with some super cute clearance pots! I’m a sucker for a terracotta pot, especially a uniquely shaped one! I feel like it’s not easy to find teracotta pots in different shapes, so it really caught my eye. I would love to find one like this at my local Walmart lol! Happy Sunday! I’ve got a bloom coming on one of my cacti and I can’t wait to see it! 🤗🌸🌵 Also, a lovely ladybug 🐞 came to help me keep the spider mites at bay. Here it is on my mistletoe cactus, but it’s been having a great time going from plant to plant and I’m grateful for the help since spider mites have been invading lately, and it’s been a job getting rid of them. Happy Saturday, hope everyone is having a good evening. I watered some plants this heat is really stressing my outdoor plants, and even some of my succulents. Wanted to share a couple pics from yesterday. 1. A cute bunny eating some clover outside of the screened in porch. I got to watch him while I watered my plants. 2. Sedum ‘Gold Dust’ has some new growth (babies) 3. Anacampseros also has some new growth (baby plants) growing from the base. 4. Sempervivum has gotten much bigger since putting it in the ground. 5. Hope everyone had a fun & safe Fourth of July! I didnt get to do much but I did eat a good steak, and got to sleep in today so that was nice. It’s technically #succulentsaturday so enjoy these succulent updates on this Saturday morning (: 🌿 pachyphytum ‘sunburst’ has a fully open bloom right now! 🌿 Echeveria prolifica has three ned babies growing. 🌿 Sedum Adolfi ‘Gold Dust, had some new growth as well. 🌿 I don’t know much about my passacana cactus, but noticed it fresh green spines sticking up, coming out the top (center ) of the plant. I took a close up photo. It may be a little hard to see! This plant hadn’t grown or really done anything since I’ve had it, so it was super exciting that it is finally growing after almost having it for 1 year now. 5. My new window shelf I got at walmart on clearance for 5$! I bought one for my grandma for Mother’s Day and it was 20$, i wanted one but am glad I waited for it to go on sale. It was tricky getting to stick on window at first without it falling off, but I figured out not long after and it hasn’t fallen off since. Propagation update! Here's what mine look like after a month. I cleaned up, removed, and added a few between but you can see the growth of the ones that are in both.
