One week update of trying to #propagate my plants! It looks like the only roots so far are on the #TwoRowStonecrop stem I put in water where it only got humidity and wasn’t touching the water so I drained a little bit of the water to see if more roots will grow that way like @TheConservator suggested. I’ve been spraying the leaves on the paper towel with water every other day and I might try putting them on soil soon. #PropagationStation #ElephantBush #StringOfPearls

Succulent water propagation update! I'm always so happy when I see so many roots in the water. I think water propagation is much easier than soil but it does take up way more room. 1️⃣ String of Rubies or in this case just a ruby. 2️⃣ Jelly bean plant that I had to save from rot. 3️⃣ String of pearls I'm trying my best not to kill. 4️⃣ 🤷‍♂️ Maybe a Graptosedum Bronze? 5️⃣ Golden Sedum which is one of my favorites. My string of pearls is dying 😫 I repotted it and put it outside. I live in zone 9 and I’m afraid it was too hot. Any help is greatly appreciated! There is basically no more green pearls on Forrest.

I’m so happy to have brought this home from the markets with me this morning! I saw her last week, but didn’t have cash on me, so had to leave her… BUT she was still there for me this week 😍🥰 No draping strings happening yet, but she’s in a good spot so I hope to see her shine over the next few months. Happy Tuesday to all #brunchataudreys plant 🪴 parents 🧑‍🌾 !!! It’s a cool, cloudy ☁️ morning here in SoCA. Greg claims lots of plants 🪴 🪴 need 💦 today but with this foggy weather lately I doubt few will actually need it. Anyway first up is a little pot of propagated SOD🐬 🐬🐬🐬. I hate to throw cuttings out so I’ve got a few SOD’s around the house. This one in a bright, southern window about 5 feet away seems to be happiest. Best color and chonky little 🐬 🐬🐬🐬 👏. 2nd is new leaf on Panda 🐼 syngonium 🥹🥰. Next is teeny SOP pot with SOP cuttings from momma 🪴. Silver Dragon 🐉 has lots of baby leaves poking through the older leaves 👶 🌱. Lastly the anthurium bakeri with 2 flower stalks. Last time it bloomed/went to seed I harvested them and got about 12. They’re all in 2” pots now.
