I have posted on here a few times seeking advice about propagating my #TreePhilodendron , or #SplitLeafPhilodendron , as they are apparently called now. Then today, I noticed this perfect little pup growing, and I didn’t even know they pupped! I gently pulled it up and it looked great, so I potted it right away. I’ve wanted to propagate this plant for so long and I am thrilled to have this pup now! 💚💚💚

I got this from a friend and she’s been struggling with quickly yellowing and browning leaves. When I got it, the stems were over watered- but now I’m not sure what more to do to help.

Good morning, and happy weekend! First picture is a few babies off my plants to share with a friend. (The selloum is not so little though🫣) second, my rhododendron bloomed for a second time this year due to our crazy weather! Has anyone else had theirs do this as well? We’ve only owned this house for 3 years and have never seen this one bloom twice before. Also ignore the spider webs, we like Halloween in this household 😜 and a few more pics of some healthy plants of course. Is there any way to resurrect this guy? I have repotted it with fertilizer and given it some liquid dirt and it’s currently under a plant light. Any recommendations? I’m new to the green thumb and I feel like I’m losing this one quick.

Emerson is cured!! (i think) he recently grew some new leaves and those leaves are showing no signs of spider mites! The spots on his older leaves are turning brown too!! 🤩🥳 So excited! #NewGrowth #SplitLeafPhilodendron #rehabplants

Can anyone tell me what this might be? He gets some filtered direct light, is watered to a strict schedule and I test the soil with a moisture meter before watering. The soil is good. Can’t see any pests. Any ideas?!

My monstera is thriving, 13 leaves🤯 one bigger than my hand!! I’m so amazed. She’s being repotted tomorrow with a moss pole! I know she’s a baby but how do I know when she will split? #prosperity #Monstera #SplitLeafPhilodendron

Umm…have I waited too long to separate these two? Will it be a nightmare, or even possible, to separate their root systems without damaging them? Would’ve been way simpler back in February, no? 1st pic is today, 2nd is Feb #repottinghelp

My #SplitLeafPhilodendron was already well-established when we moved here 15 years ago. For the past couple of years, it seemed to be getting way too big and heavy, because the leaves were always on the ground and the plant looked exhausted. Yesterday we cleaned out the huge pile of leaves that had been covering the #Monstera ‘s roots, and literally the very next day (not even 24 hours later!!) it’s leaves are standing very upright, looking super healthy and happy! It even flowered, and has another flower about to open! I love when my plants are happy!

Why won’t my split leaf plant keep it’s branches up? I have to prop him on things to lift the branches. What do I need to do to strengthen him? Does he need to be outside?

Damnit I did it again 3 new leaves comin in but 1st look at these roots!!! The split leaf philodendron aerial roots haven’t stopped growing. Right before I took this pic I noticed two new leaves comin in she must be on the same schedule as her mother because her mom is kickin out a new leaf to (a split leaf at that) if I can get mine to push out a split leaf in water I’m goin to lose it... My elephant ear is surprisingly kicking out a new leaf to she been trying to give me problems from brown roots to the stem bendin twice I slapped a straw on her cut the brown roots off and put her right in front of the window… Oh yeah I put a potho cuttin in both #SplitLeafPhilodendron #ElephantEar #GoldenPothos #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #RootPorn #NewGrowth #DrGreen
