Snake Plant Sunday 🤗💚 • Some new pictures of my beloved Snake plants, they are slow growing but it’s gratifying when they finally do put out new growth. Priscilla (fourth picture) had grown a pup a couple months ago, since then it has gotten really big! Same for my Silver Snake Plant, it’s kind hard to see the pup on that one (photo 3) but it’s there & has also grown a lot since my last update on it. I kinda want to separate them & make new plants out of them, but I’m kinda nervous about it &, I also like the more full look it gives the plant. • I also wanted to share my Satin Pothos, she has really taken off since repotting her, & giving her a trellis to climb on, & adding a water globe for more even/consistent watering. I fill up the water globe every two days or so, & it has really made a big difference, I also moved her outdoors (on my screened in porch) in the beginning of spring, for the first time since getting her. She is just so full & pretty ! Good morning #TheThread ! I am starting a new tag called #PlantRant but anyways WELCOME TO PLANT RANT THE PLACE TO RANT ABOUT PLANTS!!! TODAY WE ARE ADDRESSING EASY AS HECK PLANTS!!! WE HAVE 7!!! Obviously we got the SNAKE PLANT! I’ve only watered this guy 5 TIMES THIS YEARRRR!!!! Tho does not respond well to being overwatered!! if you are one of those plant parents that just overwater EVERYTHING be careful but honestly it’s not really that bad! Next we got the BRASIL! and maybe I’m a bit biased for gods sake my name IS PHILOOOOO. The philo brasil is variegated but don’t worry, it’s not like other plants that have to have sun to variegate! IM LOOKING AT YOU POTHOS! HAD TO PUT YOU RIGHT AGAINST THE WINDOW FOR ONE VARIGATED LEAF!!! This diva variegates no matter what. The only flaw with plant is a philo flaw in general which is they need so many pots. LIKE I NEED SO MANY POTS. It’s really amazing how many pots they need… Next is just ficus in general, GOOD BOY! NEVER BAD! I LOVE THE LEAVES! I HAVE THREE AND I LOVE THEM!!! I just got one… YESTERDAY! Maybe I’ll not be philo and be FICUS!!! Next is the ZZ PLANT MY WONDERFUL CC OMG BUTIFUL! AND I KNOW I SPELLED THAT WRONG THATS BEAcAUSE SHES SO BEAUTIFUL! LITERALLY INDESTRUCTIBLE ITS INCREDIBLE! Next we have the POTHOS! I was considering NOT putting this on here because it’s SO overused but I mean cmon, please. She is like literally not even A PLANT at this point. SO HUGE OMGGGG!!! Now I don’t have this yet, but I’m looking at it, the Hoya! LITERALLY DONT HAVE TO GIVE THIS PLANT A GALACTIC AMOUNT OF FERTILIZER JUST TP BLOOM!!! ALSO SUPER EASY JUST DO THE TACO TRICK! JUST BEND THE LEAF! If it folds, water time! But if it’s firm, NEGLECT TIME! THIS HOYA IS LITERALLY A GEN X KID OH MY GOSHHH!!! Next is the philodendron BILLAE! IM LOVING IT LIKE MICCY D’S!!! GOT IT 4 FREE AT MY FAVORITE STORE! SUPER SLOW GROWER, GO TO HER FRIEND, BRASIL, FOR A FAST ONE! BUT A NEW LEAFY IS DEFO A FLEX! #brunchataudreys Happy Thursday everyone! I hope everyone is doing well. 🌞 I ordered a Zeylanica Snake Plant from the #gregplantshop via Altman Plants that was delivered yesterday! It's way nicer than the actual picture and much taller! So tall in fact that one of the leaves accidentally got folded down into the top of the box during shipping and it broke the tip off. No big deal it's still a beauty! It won't hurt me as much when I chop it and prop it. Little known fact about Snake Plants... once the tip breaks off of one of the leaves, that leaf stops growing. It won't die, it just won't grow any taller. I usually end up cutting that leaf off as close to the base as possible, which allows the energy that was given to that leaf to be used to produce new pups. Which is what's happened every single time I've cut a leaf off. New pups shortly appear. I am also waiting on 2 Watch Chain plants which will be here today!!! Plant mail is the best mail! Am I right? And for a big bonus the package is bigger than my mailbox so they have to deliver it to my door!! Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread Woohoo its FRIYAY🙌! 1 more day to the WEEKEND finish line😍. Hopefully i only have a halfday at work and mine can start early. I managed to get a few plant things done yesterday after work. I cleaned out the climatarium and put everything back in. Then i did some watering of plants i had been neglecting for days🙄. Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread Well we made it through Monday its on to Tuesday. It rained most of the day away yesterday in kansasland. It was wet and just a little chilly so nothing outside got done. Luckily my cactus were still on the porch from the last round of rain. Its looking like theyre never going to get off the porch lol. Theres really not much to report on my plants except that im still waiting for my aquarium to get shipped out😤 so i can start my ping terrarium. Its going to be a full day at work today for me. What are you guys doing? Im sure with fall fast approaching alot of you are scrambling to get plants ready to come in. Its always such a chore finding where to put everything this time if year that im sure alot of you have already started. Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread Its a rainy thursday morning here in kansasland. Its been coming down most of the night and is suppose to continue through half the day. Thats ok with me cause its awefully relaxing🥹 and much needed! The pitter patter of the rain along with the flicker of fire is a little piece of heaven. Ive been sleeping better the last few nights with the help of my back brace and better medication timing. We are so close to the WEEEKEND i can almost taste the BBQ now😋! Do any of you have some exciting plans for the holiday? No matter what your doing i hope its PERFECT! Thanks for all the beautiful photos yesterday🥰. There were so many perfect plants flaunting their stuff that it was a challenge to pick 5😤. Photo 1 is from @Just1More who couldnt resist this wonderful little pothos snow queen when she saw it😱. Its such a peaceful looking plant with its light colors swirling togethor into a dreamy limon mix that just looking at it is relaxing. YES @teacher12 said it! Pumpkin spice is HERE🙌🙄🤷‍♂️😂! Shes officialy opened the door to all things pumpkin. Get your straws ready now if you wanna beat her to the LINE😂! These twin jewel orchids are living the high life @ILoveMyPlants garden oasis. They sure look HAPPY🤗 nestled into that bed of moss and being tended by a group of fairys. Those crackle variagated leaves are one if a kind for sure. And that new BABY leaf🥹! Its just PERFECT! @SunSoilLove receieved some epic plant mail when she got this amazing sanseveria😍. Its so unusual for a SNAKE that i wasnt even sure it was one🤷‍♂️. And for iur last picture ive shared the nepenthes ampuluria that i got yesterday. Ive already repotted it into a self watering pot with live spagh to keep it company. #WhatTheSuccWednesday #WhereIsWhatTheSuccWednesday Happy Hump 🐫 Day! *whoot whoot!* 🎉 Photos 2-5 are my repots from this past weekend. 🌿 1- my #PlantCorner on our screened-in porch, out back. It’s just so nice to see all my plants just co-existing with one another! *FUN FACT*: I’ve heard that plants placed next to each other tend to do better, & actually prefer to be around each other. It’s almost like they thrive on each others company & vibes 🤭🤷🏻‍♀️ how neat is that? 2- Golden Torch Cactus got moved to this bigger pot, (my turtle pot). I moved my sick jade tree out of the turtle pot, and moved my cacti into it. I’ve had this cactus cluster for 4 (going on five) years, it was only one cactus stalk when I was gifted it my bestfriend, now it’s five! 3- Lipstick Echeveria also was moved to a new hanging pot, onto the back porch. 4- Cylindrical Snake Plant, was moved out of my the hanging pot, my Lipstick Echeveria is now in. ^ (from photo 3 above), and moved into a larger terracotta pot my mom gave me recently. 5. Lastly my Lady Finger Cactus has {finally} gotten a noticeable amount taller, I put it into a new slightly larger (3.5) inch terracotta pot. I have a snake plant (Sansevieria trifasciata) that I keep in a plastic nursery pot placed inside a woven basket, with LECA balls on top for drainage. Recently, I’ve noticed that some of the leaves are curling slightly. The plant usually lives in my bedroom where it gets indirect light, but I’ve started placing it in the corridor for 2–4 hours of brighter natural light daily. I bought the plant on 21.08.25, and it was last watered on that day. I touched the soil today and it still feels humid, not dry, so I’m unsure whether I should water it tomorrow (27.08.25) or wait longer. Does the plant look healthy overall, or should I adjust my care routine? Any tips for preventing or fixing curling leaves would be amazing! #snakeplant #Sansevieria
