I didn’t have finding #scale on my Easter bingo card. I noticed some of my #MiniMonstera leaves looked like they were developing a translucent pattern. It was very noticeable when they were being backlit by the light of the window. Upon closer examination (and the help of a jeweler’s loop put on my iPhone camera lens) it was unmistakably scale buggers causing the damage. Frack. I’m trying to decide where I am in the infestation phase. I only see it on one of the Kalanchoe types in this pot. I have propagated her and that baby is thriving but I don’t want to prematurely give up on the momma. I’m willing to put in the time if I have to to save her. Any tips, advice, weigh in would be very much appreciated. I’m sure you guys know the feeling of dread when you have to cut a baby. And what’s causing these bugs?!
