She got roots! Took 3 weeks. That’s a shot glass so she’s very Itsy Bitsy. Can’t wait to become a member of #TeamCan ! I told a friend about her and she wants to give me her spider plant. I’m so excited. 2nd & 3rd pic were taken just one day apart. OMG, baby snake roots! I repotted Adam (a gifted propagation) at the end of March, cutting a long, wonky leaf and an old, previously trimmed leaf to propagate. Wonky Leaf was devided in two pieces, one of which was placed in soil and the other trialed in water with a pothos prop. (I’d heard of pothos props could speed root growth in other plants when paired together.) Old Leaf went into a bottle on its own for water prop and I wasn’t sure if it would go, being an older leaf that had previously been trimmed. Well…about a week ago my paired prop sprouted roots! Nothing from Old Leaf, hope was beginning to fade. This morning, I found a single root and about peed my pants! ♥️ skipped a beat. I’m leafing soil Prop for a bit before I check it. Who else out there gives reiki to their plants? 🤷🏽‍♀️🙋🏽‍♀️ #Propagation #SnakePlant #reikiplants #rootsmakepeoplehappy #RootPorn
