Recovery update 馃鈿曪笍 Everyone knows big box stores don't take the best care of the plants they sell. Which only works out when you get a good deal on an otherwise expensive plant! After rescuing a beautiful Monstera Deliciosa, it was time for a complete check-up. The leaves? Green, healthy. The soil? Soaked. Pests? None. The roots? Rotting away.. The smell from the stagnant water under the plant knocked me out of my socks! I made sure to get rid of every bit of that negativity, repot with a well-draining home complete with fresh/breathable soil. Orchid update: Unfortunately, the poor guy just up and fell apart today while I was trying to water. It had rotted up the whole stem right under my nose. Sad to see it go. The other orchid will look kinda lonely without this one. #phalaenopsisorchid #orchidlovers #rot #rootrot

Sad times over here this last week... All the babies I got from walmart started to suffer from rot cuz never do I get healthy succs from there.
