So I have 4 different plants and this app says to water all of them every 2 weeks. I have 2 succulents, a pineapple plant (my newest addition) and a poinsettia. However, when I look it up on the internet it says water my pineapple plant once or twice a week. I do feel the soil but I really don’t want to kill these plants! Plus I love to know all the details and knowledge. Speaking of holiday plants (I just posted about my literal late-bloomer amaryllis 😂), the beautiful, magnificent poinsettia my mother bought for me last month was immediately besieged by spider mites, and by the time I was able to kill them all, she’d lost all her gorgeous leaves 😭🍃 But being a patient and loving plant mom, I knew she just needed time to recover. Now she’s growing new leaves and will be lush again in no time. Never say die! Poinsettia Rescue My husband brought this Poinsettia home from his office. It was headed for the trash and he intercepted it. @StarryKentia I've got me one and will do my best to keep it alive. I don't have a very good track record! Regardless I'm up for a challenge! However, I'm getting conflicting care instruction. My #Amaryllis this morning when I woke up, and then tonight when I got home from work 😍😍😍 First time I’ve successfully had one bloom! Usually just get huge leaves 🤣🌿 Also, my mom surprised me with this beautiful orange #Poinsettia ! I had no idea they came in orange, or is it dyed? Not sure what’s happening to my poinsettia. I let her acclimate then potted her. Soil is slightly moist about 50% but she’s droopy and some leaves are turning yellow. I only watered her when the soil was about 25% wet. #Poinsettia

Has anyone else been able to keep there poinsettias alive since Christmas??? I revived my Mother’s! It’s pink!! I got the red & white one (Mochi) for my birthday from my fiancé, so it’s special to me! Kept them outside, thriving & happy too! Any advice on how to get them red? I’m excited! I’ve had a time with trying to keep this poinsettia alive! Finally have it in the right spot, with better soil. I had to prune most of the leaves off, save the last two on the very top 🥲. It’s been almost 2 weeks since then & holy smokes! Look at all this growth! That’s about 7 new leaves growing up the whole stem 🥹 I’m hoping we can get her to next Christmas 🤞🏼 #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #Poinsettia #Poinsettia365
