Happy #FreshLeafFriday Y’all! 🌿🤍 🪴I need you guys to see Sōngshù’s growth. He’s an amazing plant, has a beautiful soul and his will to keep on going encourages me. These past couple of days have been so mentally and emotionally draining, but as days have passed, I’ve found myself relating to Sōngshù. •He’s been burnt out (Neem oil burnt his poor leaves) •Decided to cut things from his life (received a pruning) •Has learned to grow without these things and has worked on himself. 📸 First Image : May 23, 2022 (Day of Pruning) 📸 Second Image : May 27, 2022 📸 Third Image : June 2, 2022 ❗️Again, this is also a #mentalhealth check to make sure everyone is okay as well. I’ve had a lot of luck with my #SOP and wanted to share what’s been working for me. I have it in a pot without drainage and rarely water it - I wait until the very top is dry before adding any more water. In between watering, I spray the pearls on the top and sides of the pot. She’s in a SW facing window and gets lots of direct and indirect sunlight throughout the day. Did somebody say #FreshLeafFriday?!🍃 🥰 They’re the littlest leaves but they’re sparking so much joy for me right now! ✨ I don’t know if anyone remembers but i posted a few weeks ago about my baby Baxter taking a nosedive while I was away on vacation. 😞 He turned into the dried up crust of his former self in a weeks time, and it was decided I’d have to perform major surgery 🏥 if he had any chance of survival. 😷 👩🏼‍⚕️ 🩺 After breaking out the shears and biting the bullet, Baxter was trimmed to nothing but stubby nubs. 😢 And TODAY, I’m pleased to report for #FreshLeafFriday, my homie is making a comeback!!! It’s slow going, but it’s going!!
