TGIM (thank goodness it's Monday😁) #plantmememonday the take my money edition! I've had these memes for a while. Seems they are from my #plantsmademedoit stress-shopping I mean #selfcarepurchase days, lol! Also sharing a rooted monstera cutting I adopted from my workplace that then proceeded to fold itself in half when I tried to give it more love and light - feels like a message of some sort... 🤔😧🤣😭 Gotta say how much this houseplant hobby and the Greg community do for my mental health and well-being! So I was scrolling through Facebook and I saw that #PhillipsGardenCenter in tupelo made a post with ALLLL NEWEW LITTLE PRETTIES and among those precious pretties were the plants I HAD WROTE DOWN on a piece of trash paper the last time that I was there and we were talking about what cool new plants are *hip* and *trending* and *wallet friendly* lmao. I had NO INTENTIONS of leaving the house today... until that... I get there and 😵😵‍💫🥴😍😬🤗 freak out with excitement. Every 2 seconds *ohh! Look at that! **ooohhh!!! They got this one too! *Eeeekk!!! My wish list plant and its affordable and perrrrfffeeeccctttt...I was playing musical plants bc I couldn't decide and just kept picking one up just to set another down to pick another one up and rinse and repeat. Tickled to death! I got a new Polka dot which is adorable!!! Another Calathea Stellar white fusion bc I have an u healthy obsession for it and my wish list plant I've been dying for, Peperomia Rosso in all its grace and glory!! Eeehhhkkkk!! ITS ALIVE! ITS ALLIIIIVVVEEEEEE!!!! The girl at the nursery that I've been "infiltrating" for a year now gave me a string of hearts node. A fat one too. No roots no growth just a ball... I wasn't going to tell her that no only do I know NOTHING of dealing with plants at this stage but I'm also rather great at murdering them with a mere glance if they mood strikes the fancy. Whatever though, I take it home and put it into RootRiot cube (which i highly recommend) and just left it in the there, watering here and there but not paying any attention to it bc the fear of killing it from me looking at it funny was for reals. Well I reluctantly check it today and I HAVE MY FIRST WEE BITTY BABY HEART!?!?!
