I’d been watching my favorite shops and #BrosWithHoes had some amazing deals on some little guys I’ve wanted for a while. to clarify, I literally have not bought any plants since December or January. #plantshopping I went to Home Depot earlier today & couldn't resist getting some plants 🤭 There was a table full of #philodendron's , and this #philodendronpaintedlady caught my eye. I couldn't leave the store without it. I love plants that have yellow on them 😄 I also saw a shelf full of cacti and Succulents and despite knowing next to nothing about them I decided to get a cactus. It is labeled as a Mammillaria "Ginsa Maru". Is it bad to top water cacti? #plantgraveyard Well lost two baby plants today. My #polkadotplant and a #spiderplant. The good thing is they'er nontoxic to #pets. I don't know who ate them; 😕 but on the bright side. I got two open spots. So you know what that means #plantshopping !

My friend was here yesterday just to hang out and do fun mom crafts with kids. She was admiring my new plant shelves and #happyplants that I’ve gotten since moving to the new place. It’s inspired her to start something similar in her own place and branch out from succulents and cacti to leafy plants. A few times she asked ‘Hey when you cut that, can I have a cutting?’ Or ‘If you separate those pups, can I have one?’ All of the ones she asked about I had already either propped or separated some pups, so I #GiftedAway some plants and sent them home with her. They’re all rooted and growing well which should help her transition to taking care of leafy plants. She’s excited to have different kinds of plants. Next weekend we’re going to go #plantshopping together. RIP to our wallets… I’m gonna help her with amendments to add to soil and a few other things too.
