We're finally freezing with some snow on the way here in Colorado. The Canna Lillies are the 1st to come in. I’m sharing my fall project: a temporary plant room with lights and little natural window on the north side of the house. The weather is changing and we are starting a construction project on portions of the house so all my outdoor plants and the plant stand all moved into this unused shower! I’m prepared for someone to say that this is not a good idea to mix Electrical and water, but this is only temporary and the lighting is up at the ceiling height above the water source. All the wiring runs across the ceiling to the other side of the room to an outlet. Saved some plants today! I love the way they look on the guest (“plant room”) bedside table next to the biggest fern for $10!!! My bird of paradise also came in that I got for 50% off. Bought a grow light for it.
