Got a ways to go, but here’s some of the changes happening around my home. Over the past few weeks I’ve been wanting to make things a little more spacious in the plant department. One of my south windows was getting cluttered because of a shelf I installed several months back. My String of Bananas were getting so long they were taking over everyone’s personal space. If succulents could talk I’d probably have a feud on my hands right now lol. I can just hear Duke barking Bob outta that window 😂 Anyway, with some brainstorming and patience 🙏🏻 everything came out great! Praise Jesus cause this took some serious time! All of my smaller potted succulents now have their own window hotel in my craft room and even have an extra empty top shelf for more YAY👍🏻 My hanging plants that need more sun have room to let that hippie hair hang down 😎 While the bigger pots can chill in the sill 🌞 AND the new vines have a window space all to themselves after rearranging my bedroom furniture 🥵 WHEW! I saw a lime green super cute Burros tail at H-E-B and my husband said there’s not room for more plants 😒 but (I protested trying to not sound like a spoiled child) I just gave away half my cuttings!! In the end I did not get it but will be retuning to H-E-B first thing tomorrow when he’s at work. He will never notice! Happy Saturday, all of you wonderful plant people 🪴🌿💚 Recently I’ve been trying to actively be less “plugged in” to my phone/social media, so I haven’t been on here for much more than my plant care schedule. I have to say though, I really miss the posts on here the most out of all social media. This meme was posted to a plant FB group I’m in today. It made me laugh because of something my daughter said last night. Last night, my 7 and 4 year olds were with me at Dollar General. I was looking at something else and Irie (7 year old) says “Ohhhh Mom! Look at this Mickey Mouse plant pot! You should get it for your PLANTS” (I wish I could properly explain how she says the word plants to me 😂) I’m about to tell her thank you but it’s not really my style, and I don’t need or want it. But she flips the pot over. She looks at the bottom, one eyebrow arches up slightly. Irie looks up at me and says “Yep- it’s even got a drain hole for the water. Now you HAVE to get it” 😂 It’s funny how kids pay attention to things that we don’t think they notice. #plantmemes #PlantHumor #drainage

My plants are trying to kill me. I was heating up some butter in a plastic container in the microwave when it burst into flames. Turning off the microwave did nothing. I got a glass of water and threw it on the flames 🔥 inside the microwave. When i deconstructed the mess I found —get this— a FLORIST PIN— like i use to pin vines to moss poles—under the butter. Some vine was miffed, obviously, and flung out his arm, sending the pin sailing across the room and into my butter dish. How long has it lain there, buried in butter ? What if i had spread the pin on toast? Ouch. Should I be worried? Should I move my plants further apart to prevent mutiny? Little devils. 💚💚💚 #HappyPlants #PlantHumor #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy
