I’ll go first. Here you see pictured: Garage sale sign posts; aka stakes for future plants, possible plant hangers. A bag of shredded paper; aka plant packing paper for future plants I send to fellow #Greggers. About a dozen curtain hangers and random hooks; aka hanging rods for future hanging planters. I have 81 plants in the Oasis, there are about 20 different Sansevierias, 7 different Ficus Trees, 3 Hoya plants, about 7 cacti plus a few various Succulents, some Phildendrons, and a couple of Pothos. But I don’t see any so called hoarding going on! I am I in denial? Down the river without a paddle so to speak?? Oh , by the way I have a plant out on loan to my sister. She has this really huge pot, old Art Nouveau design. We looked at some plants that would look nice in it; and finally decided on the Spider Mandarin plant! So I had a visitor this week and today we went to the grocery store. Long story short, I saw this 6”peace lily for $15 and being the hoarder that I am… my friend bought it for me after I contemplated for 15 minutes. 😂 Peace lilies have never thrilled me but for some reason I could not leave this baby behind. Since it’s a grocery store plant, I gave her a shower to wash any gnats or pollen off, and sprayed with diluted alcohol and hydrogen peroxide. I also watered with dehumidifier water and hydrogen peroxide to kill any eggs that might be hiding in the soil. She’s beautiful and I can’t wait to watch her grow!
