Hello #GregFam, haven't updated things on my side for a while. Just some quick plant updates! Hoya 'Rebecca', my first ever Hoya is doing marvellous! Exploded with new growth and another round of blooms, plus more peduncs on their way! This is a massive new leaf on a Philo 'Paraiso Verde'. Just so you know, this baby is not on a pole, plus it gets afternoon AND evening sun on sunny days. Mother Nepenthes x 'Gaya' with new pitchers as the old ones fade. There's something lovely about new pitchers. Goodmorning everyone #GregGang happy Sunday!! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Yesterday Erika and I went to this open house at a local carnivorous plant nursery (shoutout Redleaf exotics) and we saw SOOO many cool plants!! ☺️I’ll try to give a full spread of plants I’ll even post extras in the comments (and if yall want more just ask!! I don't post often, but i just wanna share some new growths i thot was cute :3 1. Phalaenopsis Mituo Reflex Dragon 'Blue-2' [AM/AOS] x Happy Camper 'Blue'. Newest leaf is a large one! AND it still hasn't hardened fully yet 2. Homalomena sp. 'Silver Red'. First leaf since i got it just 2 weeks ago! AND it has a bloom popping! Although I'm suspicious over how it looks, dunno whether brown tips is good [Tip: for those using aquasoil, or as you call it Fluval Stratum, try crushing it or get the powdered form. It holds water better, but still retains the same quality as the granules. Holds onto cuttings better too] 3. Bucephalandra 'Brownie Ghost' babies. They grow sooo slowlybut these babies are growing fast! They've got a bit of a sparkle which is nice 4. Nepenthes 'Viking' x veitchii 'Bario' baby. Fresh pitchers from seedlings are the most precious to me! 5. Baby Heartleaf and Anthurium! The Heartleaf was a single-leaf w/ node cutting from a mature vine. Went out on a small adventure today to find some #plantsinthewild ! Of course, #carnivorousplants 😄 .. We initially went out looking for Pinguicula pumila, Drosera capillaris, or Drosera brevifolia. Considering we were just looking at roadsides, I wasn't sure we were going to find much. If you know what any of these three look like, they're all pretty darn tiny. I knew that Sarracenia minor grows in the area that we were looking, though I didn't even consider the possibility of finding them as they seem to be rarer. Well, while we might not have found any of the first three mentioned, to my complete shock we did find Sarracenia minor! It was definitely hard to get to, as the ditch was completely full of water, but we found a point to cross. There wasnt many plants, and the ones there didn't seem to be in the best condition, but it was still amazing to see them nonetheless! #sarracenia #pitcherplant #plantsmakepeoplehappy #happyplants #rareplants #carnivorousclub #merranda #greggang #greggers #outdoors #naturefinds #cpclubthursday #carnivorouscuties.

Finally was able to visit the West Coast of the US for the first time! And, of course, I stopped and saw Darlingtonia (Cobra Lilies) in the wild! This was my first time even seeing Darlingtonia in person, wild or in cultivation. They were stunning, even more beautiful than I thought they'd be ✨️! It was interesting seeing the light windows in the Darlingtonia pitchers, as theirs are more translucent. Sarracenia light windows tend to lean more towards the opaque side. Its cool seeing similarities between two species despite them being on opposite sides of the country! They were also adorable. They look like snakes all having conversations with eachother 🐍. The fishtail that the pitchers have makes it look like they all are eating fish! Definitely will have to make it back over there one day, as it was incredible to see them in the wild. I believe this particular site was a bog, but I'd love to visit a Darlingtonia fen as well! Hey guys what the fuck are those bugs 😁 they came over night and laied eggs on my pitcher plant they have hard shell and stay at bottom of the leave and laied eggs at the pitcher cover bottom
