#WhereIsWhatTheSuccWednesday #WhatTheSuccWednesday Happy humpday #GregGang ! I’m a little late for this what the succ Wednesday post, but better late then never!! So happy to say that my Opuntia Prickly Pear Cactus has started growing flowers I think! This is one of the plants my boyfriend brought home from work, he found it in some pine straw and it was an arm that had fell from the mother plant and started growing roots in the pine straw. He brought it home to me and it has grown tremendously since! This is my first time seeing it flower & I can’t wait to see what color the blooms are or what they will look like! (Photos 1-3) The fourth photo is my newest snake plant growth, I posted a few days ago and it has grown faster then I expected, it was much smaller a few days ago, I somehow had missed it, but I just love how silver-ish they are when the leaves are new, really lives up to the name! 🌚 Last photo is my variegated haworthia cooperi pilifera (wow that’s a mouth full! 🤣) it had stretched quite a bit over the winter, I thought it wasn’t gonna bounce back but thankfully it did because I absolutely love this lil cutie! 🥰 You all know the drill! #ProgressPics & #BeforeAndAfter of my #Opuntia #PricklyPear before I repotted it a week ago (pictures 1/2) . Pictures 3/4 are from today. My boyfriend dug this up from a pine straw patch, at one of his jobs. (Perks of having a landscaper boyfriend 🤭). It had been in the same pot with the same dirt for about a year before I recently decided to repot it. It has almost doubled in size since then. I keep it outside where it gets a mostly full sun, and recently lots of rainwater. Got my #Opuntia desert snow pine a fancy new Italian terracotta pot from the Home Depot and out of her old plastic pot, with some tasty amendments to her cactus soil like gritty mix and earthworm castings along with some “enrich” from we the wild, she should be feeling good now! :) #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #RarePlants

We've finally woken up here in the "north!" After a loooooong 6 month dormancy, every one of these guys is alive and popping off. Tons of new pads coming, and even the pads that broke off during planting made it through the winter and are growing. Pleasantly surprised that I didn't lose any during their first big freeze! Scored some cool finds at Home Depot when I stopped for a Christmas Gift. Didn’t find the gift I needed but I couldn’t not go past the plants…. Look at these cool guys!
