Help guys i can't name him. He was a leftover from rescaping my tank [TC gives you a LOT of plants]. Unlike my Wendts' tho, this guy was already in a semi-aquatic environment, so he pretty much converted overnight. How I Named My Plants! 👌 Seeing as all of my plants, some of which I haven’t added to my Oasis yet as I’ve only had Greg for around a week, are succulents or cacti. I thought of the place that they are typically from when they are not growing in people’s houses, and that was deserts. In the world, there are 33 major deserts but in total 71 if you count smaller ones too aka that’s plenty of available names to give my plants! Meet Atacarma, Chalbi, Gobi, Kalahari, Mohave, Namib, Ogaden and Sahara in my posts, and some of my others once I get round to adding them to my Oasis. I’d appreciate it if at least some of y’all could join the NameMyPlants group below, even gough it’s so small: I’d love it to get bigger, and I’ve seen that so many people have put posts up on the general community asking for name ideas, but the group already talk about it in there. Thanks! There are plenty of other things you can do to name your plants such as using puns or naming capital cities all around the world, lots of which have been suggested on this group!🌎🌍🌏 #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #NameMyPlants #SucculentLove #HappyPlants

Goodmorning, plant friends! #PlantMail #greggivesback I used my gift card from Greg on the partnered nursery East Austin Succulents, so here is my review of what I got!! General info: All of the plants are shipped bare root and no pot, which I personally don’t mind because I can immediately put them in soil I like and pots I want! I got 3 plants, a small pair of cutters, and 2 raw amethyst. 1. Haworthia Attenuata ‘Bones’: Love it, adorable, beautiful white circles/bands. It’s a little brother for my haworthia zebra 😂 the pg version of his name will be Bones. It was $10. The pot is from the dollar general. Unfortunately the app doesn’t know this type, and I can’t add the name to the list, so it’ll just be put in as just a zebra 2. Domino Cactus: I HAVE JOINED THE #CactusClique !! I got the cactus I’ve been wanting hooray! It’s a super cute 2in domino with a great root system. It was $10. The pot is from Amazon. Haven’t thought of a name yet, ideas? #NameMyPlants 3. Rainbow Elephantbush: A little sister for my common elephant bush. Very tall, small root system, but looks beautiful. It was $10. 4 & 5. The cutters and 2 raw amethyst (you get 2 in one order) are great, they were both $5. The cutters are sharp, and they come in their own safe bag. Final thoughts: I really enjoyed shopping their nursery. I’m only a state away from Texas, so the shipping only took one day. The prices on their website are great in my opinion. All 3 of my plants were $30. The shipping price is a flat $10. Went to my local nursery for some #PlantTherapy shopping with my friend, @13Stitches, and my oldest kid today. In the last year-ish my child has gone from ‘Mooooooom…..😒’ and ‘oh no.. not another one…. 😠’ to ‘Oh! Is that new plant? 🤔 When did you get that?🙂’ And ‘oh, that’s cool!’ And now we’ve gotten to the ‘do you think I have enough light in my room for a plant?’ And now, I am proud to announce she has gotten herself her first plant to care for! #PinkSplashAglaonema its the closest #greg has in the database. But it was labeled as a ‘Night Sparkle’. Maybe the #gregteam can help with getting the proper identification? I also got myself two plants that I’ve been wanting for awhile, #WatermelonPeperomia and a #GlobalGreenPothos. At least I’m thinking it’s a global green, it was labeled as #LemonMeringuePothos’ buuuut… it’s too dark of a green for that, me thinks. So I’m calling it a global green. And the guy adjusted the price for it too. But now I have two new plants that need some names. Anyone care to #NameMyPlants ?
