First is a ficus Altissima and the second is the ficus moonshine. Itās been an exciting week of growth over here. In addition to those cuties, my #Homalomena (from #plantproper) flowered and actually opened! I had read many of them never do so wasnāt optimistic. Iāve been trying a bunch of different plants in #pon , #leca , and other #SoillessPottingMediums and so far have been loving it! The pon and soilless medium are from āKenny Grew Itā on Etsy. My plants have seemed happy and even the dramatic ones are putting out healthy roots as you can see. Itās worked for #Propagation as well as more established plants. The only negative can be the cost, but as many of you know, ikea has very inexpensive leca! Iāve found myself hesitant to use as much of it as Iād need to convert my plants in bigger pots. I am by no means an expert but would love to talk with anyone else trying these out and share tips and tricks! And of course what not to do š So far I just use my happy happy houseplant food/fertilizer but a more specific fertilizer regimen is probably my biggest question and next step.
