The two 4 foot palms arrived with tiny spiders and a lil bit of a moldy smell in the soil/on the butcher paper… how can I take care of the palms without manmade chemicals pls?! Thank you!!

I got this about 4 weeks ago - one of the branches at the base had rot so I removed it. I think it maybe spread to another - any suggestions on what I should do? It’s in the original pot in came in.
