Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread 🥱🥱🥱...🫩 is it FRIDAY yet? Ive only worked 1/2 a day so far this week but man im ready for the weekend already! Im really feeling sorry for all of you that have worked the whole week😤. Ive been given the rest of this week and all of next to complete the job i picked up yesterday. They know my back hasnt been letting me sleep much so if theyve been trying to give me a few extra days to finish🙌. But that means i can take it easy the rest of the week and not over do it. I had to wake up this morning and go straight for cappucino instead of coffee. I totally forgot i needed to go get more yesterday. As much as i love my caps! Its JUST NOT! A cup of good old slow drip coffee that i usually start my days with. Cappucino is usually my 3rd or 4 th cup lol. Im going to end up running to the gas station in a few cause i NEED IT!🤤🫩😤! Picture 1 is from @ILoveMyPlants trip to the home depot where she scored this amazing ???🤷‍♂️😂 for 1/2 price. Im not sure what it is, but i know i love the white leaves with the green accented veins😍. Its such a visually soft and appealing plant that im not sure i couldve passed it up even at full price! Photo 2 is an awesome hoya polyneura that @SunSoilLove love has been expertly caring for at her jungle oasis. These have quickly become a must have hoya for ALOT of #HoyaHeads recently. They have such a intriguing shape and growth habit for a hoya that i feel alot of people mistake it for something else. It looks like watering day for these stunning plants @CourtlyKingfern urban jungle. Each perfect plant had its own tag so ill let you figure the names out. But WOW😱 your doing a great job! Out last 2 photos both came from @Ms.Persnickety. This excellent agave sure caught my eye with the 2 tone green leaves flanked by tiny little protective teeth. But if those dont get you then its big pointy tip sure will! Better be careful with that beauty! I bet shes sipping morning iced coffee from her EPIC #gregmug about now🥰. Hopefully its the BEST cup of joe ever 🙏! Thats the end of the show for the day. Hope everyone has an easy day ahead! Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread Its my first day back to work after 4.5 days off😤, but its still a pretty easy day. I have to go to the job i did last week and do a bathroom splash that will take 2-3 hrs by the time i go get the tile , drive 35 miles , install and get back to town. Then i have to deliver tomorrows job and prep. Not sure what my plan is after that, most likely clean house. I spent 4 days doing planty things so now my floors are a disaster🤢. Still missing my good old Acer dog😢 but now i cant blame him for being the slob of the house lol. Guess it was me ALL ALONG🤷‍♂️😂! Sure is empty without our faithful companions to say good morning or welcome us home from a hard day at work.How is everyone elses week been going? Hopefully its cruising by🏎️! We have been a little slow on pics this week. But i found a couple to tide you over🙌. Our first photo was shared by @TidyTigerpear of one of her many stunning succulents😍. This is a golden sedum thats just glowing with happiness out in that sun and under her expert care . That lime green mixed with the light pink sunstress makes for one vibrant plant! Our second photo is another expertly crafted flower arrangement done by @Hoyaobsessed. Those bright pastels seam to be the color of the the SUMMER😎. I can see why, with such a perfectly mixed pallet of colors and her eye for detail im sure theyre selling these things like hot cakes🙌! And since we are pic challenged this morning ive decided to document my first #gregmug use! Thanks again @stephonicle🙏🥰. Your awesome! A week ago, a mysterious box shows up in my mailbox—no sender info, just a cute mug with a smiling leaf! Obviously, I assume my plant-obsessed friend sent it, so I text her a long thank-you. No reply—so I think, case closed. Today, she swings by with Halloween treats and says, “Cute mug! But it’s not from me.” Now I’m baffled. Who else would feed my plant addiction when everyone else is tired of it? We talked about a lot of subjects and of course plants and Greg. I promised to send her the link for a free 3-month trial, too. Finally, I open my Greg app to semd the link, and bam! The leaf on the mug is Greg’s logo! Mystery solved! Late #cpclubthursday post, been super busy lately. Though, I wanted to share nonetheless 😁 Last weekend I went to a plant sale down south in Tampa, and got some carnivorous plants (surprise surprise lol). I've been wanting to get some more Nepenthes, so thats what I got! A little bit ago, maybe a month now, I put my Nepenthes x Hookeriana outdoors to see if it'd like it as the conditions in my room weren't adequate. Turns out, it loves it! It's finally giving me pitchers. At the plant sale, I got a nepenthes rafflesiana and a nepenthes ampullaria x campanulata. I need to get a bit of shade cloth as the n. Rafflesiana got pretty badly sunburnt when I first put it outside 🫣 whoops! I've since moved it and it seems to be okay now, it's already growing a new pitcher surprisingly. They won't get much time outside since cold is approaching, but I'm super happy that now I know that they can handle it next season! Also, I got a big surprise. A #gregmug! I love it so much, thank you #gregteam. Howdy-hey, #Greggers! I’m late with #FridayFunsies but we’re not gonna let that stop us, right? RIGHT? So today’s fun is task oriented and might not exactly be “fun” per se, unless you make it fun. What I’d love for everyone to do is go back through as many of your posts as you can, and award a Best Answer for each and every one of them, even if it’s not a question post. I know, I know. Ugh. So time consuming, but I’m gonna be right there with you all in this endeavor, ‘cause I’ve been sucky at it myself when it comes to general post. HOWEVER! There is a bright side, or glass half full. If everyone does this, chances are good, you’ll get some votes, too! Not only that, but this CAN be fun if you have commenters with a sense of humor and you enjoy re-reading things. (There are some stories I’ve been re-reading for over 30 years now. 😳) Anyhow, the point of this is to reward those who take an active interest in you and your plant journey. #TheGregTeam awards prizes every month for most Best Answers, and ultimately, it really makes folks feel good to be recognized.
