Morning Blessings #greggers! I hope everyone slept well. I'm going grocery shopping today and I'm not buying any plants bcuz I have Plants at home. WEll that's the plan 😅😁. The other day I had an idea and just wanted to play around with it a little. So I may have took some1 out of Quarantine for a few pics. 🤦🏾‍♀️Here's my personal #PothosPack I definitely want to hang a few and get an official plant stand for the for the counter. I will keep you updated of course. Hi #GregGang! Happy Monday! For #MentalHealthMonday, I wanted to share with you how #PlantTherapy has truly changed my life (and my lil tuxedo cat, who I’m thoroughly obsessed with and madly in love with, ofc — and who got caugh mid-meow in the picture below!). 🪴 I am so grateful that I stumbled upon the joy of having houseplants one day, during a very rough patch. When I got my first plant in the mail, it brought a smile to my face for the first time in months. And for the first time in months, I felt hopeful. Hopeful that taking care of this plant would help me learn how to take better care of myself, and hopeful that I was actually needed in this world. This little plant was depending on me to care of it, after all! And the best part was that it rewarded me by growing, almost as if it was saying “hey, thanks for keeping me alive.” 🥹 Watching this plant grow spurred my love (re: #PlantAddict) for houseplants, and this hobby has helped to pull me out of a very dark place. I wake up each morning excited to check for new baby leaves, blooms, and growth. I find that my little collection of plants has given me a purpose, and for a long time in my life I never believed that I would find this. As a long-standing member of the #AnxietySociety and #ClubDepressed (not to mention a few other DSM codes I’ve picked up along the way, #iykyk), the stability and sense of routine from plant care has been an invaluable part of my healing, and has really helped me to learn how to slow down, become more mindful, and the importance of daily care for all living things. Just wanted to remind my beautiful #PlantPeople that mental health and houseplant hobbies can go hand in hand, and that our plants can serve as great reminders that #MentalHealthMatters, and that we are deserving of the same #SelfCare that we give to our plants. Love y’all, #Greggers. This app has been an unexpected sanctuary where I’ve found genuine kindness and support, and has helped me stay motivated to continue learning and growing on this plant journey even through those bad days. 💚 And p.s. — my therapist said that my plant addiction is one of the best things that ever happened to me, so I plan to use her a scapegoat for any and all future plant purchases. 😘 #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #SpringIntoSummer #MentalHealth #PlantParentConfessions #PetsAndPlants #PetsOfGreg #CatsOfGreg #KeepGrowing #GrowingThroughIt

Tillandsia display 🥰 I've been wanting to create a display for my Tillandsia collection. Got an old piece of tree and a branch from another tree, screwed them into an old piece of fence board, then hot glued the shells. I just wanted to come here and announce that we are now using the term “Gregging”, when we want to tell our SO’s, our children, our friends - anyone, what we’re doing on Greg 🌿 I had a lovely chat with @strawberrymoon earlier and I didn’t reply as quick (I’m a fast texter/communicator) so I said, “I’m sorry, I was Gregging, as my bf calls it” and it clicked. We have to use it now. No way. This is a great opportunity. I’m going to take it. We are now #Greggers and when we are on #Greg, we’re #Gregging. Bonnie is my second plant ever (I started counting with the first plant I didn’t kill 😝) and has sized up in pots significantly, has been separated multiple times, and propagated yet, she still gives me new growth every day. Last year even flowered!
