So this afternoon the #NorthTexasGregGang had another meetup! (C’mon #greggers …we’re wayyy ahead of anyone else in the #GregInYourCity race!😈) Anyway we went to a Plant Swap and it was fun! We advertised for Greg and encouraged people to take a look and try it. I had never been to a swap before. It was really neat to see what kinds of plants people brought. Also, the merch people brought too! Do you guys know that there are TWO artists in our Greg group?!! @YammieOf3 paints pots and her designs are SO cool and colorful. I wanted ALL the pots!! But I only brought two home. They were a hit though. And Jason @jaysjungle brought a gorgeous plant table that he handmade with a Monstera leaf engraved on it (it is now currently residing in my living room!) plus a cute plant stool and some other items he made. PLUS some beautiful plants! I was gifted a beautiful Snake plant Sayuri from my friend @ShinyBudew and I was also given a gorgeous Prince of Orange Philo from our new friend Jason, AND that cute little pot that the Brasil is in from @yammieof3 All in all we had a great time and it was a good Swap. I hope our success with our meetups will help inspire all of #gregland to do the same. #NewPlants I’m a little embarrassed because I apparently ordered 5 plants last week (late at night) and kind of forgot about it (I’m sure you can relate @AwesomePlants !). I got a package today but there was nothing outside or inside to say where it came from or what I had ordered. I was able to identify the first three but the other two I had to do some research! I finally figured it out. Love my new plant babies!My Reflector is my very first Dieffenbachia. I still don’t know why I didn’t get ANYthing in the box. Today was a good day!! Not only did I get new plants, I also got new friends! #NorthTexasGregGang had a plant meetup and we had so much fun. I got a beautiful Golden Violin philo, and I surprised myself by getting something I never thought I’d get…an air plant AND a Rose of Jericho. #PlantingOnABudget @dreamlettuce you will be proud of me. I went to the $ General yesterday and found a prop station for $8 and a cute pot for $6. I’m going to do some drilling on the bottom of the pot. And I’m going to do some props with pothos cuttings and some with just pothos water. I keep thinking that my Monstera is going to die outside due to the horrible heat ….he’s on my front porch, which is shaded. I checked on him today and he’s got THREE new leaves that are getting ready to unfurl!!
