Never thought that I would go full on gardening and see my backyard filled with garden beds within a single growing season. I’ve always thought that I would gradually do it. The pandemic really pushed us to focus on the garden this year, which kept us really busy and for some moments forget what’s happening in the world. The garden was a bright light through all this. Another post about my visit to my mom in spring hill (or I call her the farmers market). It’s definitely #springtime ! She gave my tons of seeds and even more tomatoes. Got a huge variety to take home and play around with and plant! We got a #PricklyPearCactus about to fruit! The fruit makes it look like toes 😂 a purple #CayennePepper, some purple tomatoes I forgot the name of and the cutest little watermelon 🍉 that is ready to be picked! Seeing stuff like this makes me want to be an outdoor gardener! Nice to have a helper. Last weekend I brought my boys n we shopped for plants together. They were happy to push the shopping trolley. Today my eldest offered to help with my waterings :) #gardeningisfun #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantmom

My cucumber plant is growing quick, and needed a trellis already. I learned this string trick from Next Level Gardening on YouTube. I love that I don’t have to go out and buy something else and it has a clean look. 🥒🥒🥒 (The front one is a bell pepper) #SpringIntoSummer #gardeningisfun #VeggieGardens
