Finally got my plant room organize for winter 🙌🏻🤩 I’m so happy with how much more room I have & how much better it looks. Although I still need to get a few grow lights, it just ain’t in the budget right now 🤣.. I got the lamp & kitty picture (photo 1) for my birthday on Wednesday from my grandma & I thought they would both look awesome in my plant room. I also have my #NewPlants my mom got me set up on the table with my humidifier since you guys told me Philos & Hoyas like humidity 😏 #PlantCorner Picture two & three are the top of my plant shelf, I have it decorated as of now but that may change if I don’t end up having enough space for my plants 😬 I have my seashells displayed, & other plant related Knick knacks & my mushrooms 🍄 My new mushroom planter is super cute 🥰 a gift from my Boyfriend for my birthday. Photo 4 is over view of my plant corner, with all of my shelves & my storage shelf for my plants tools/fertilizers etc. Lastly I couldn’t finish the post up without a #BloomingSuccs photo. 🤭 Aloe ‘Delta Lights’ is growing a flower I think, yay! It’s put a lot of new growth at the top of the plant since I repotted it into a much bigger pot. Not house plant related but I harvested my last set of seeds today in Michigan. Temps are very low at night and most of my chaotic flower garden has died off. I let any blooms remain to mature as long as possible to attempt a viable harvest. This was my first major year of success with seed harvest and next year I plan to get even more native Michigan species and more milkweed. My pollinator mix I bought didn’t have a single milkweed plant in it. 😒 Now to let these dry out for a week them play crumble and pick out seeds and pray. 🙏 #HappyPlants #WildFlowers #Michigan #FloweringPlants

#FreshLeafFriday just under the wire! Just wanted to share my first successful begonia propagation! 🥳 I’ve tried so many times with begonias, but they always just rot 🥲 but not this time! I did it! 🎉😆 seriously, though, it’s so tiny and cute. I might gift it to a friend, I might prop another one and make a second #PolkaDotBegonia for my office. Also, my #ChineseHibiscus is still blooming, and is doing it even faster than it did in the summertime! It took a while to build up the energy, I guess. 🌺🌺🌺 And a bonus picture of my chihuahua rescue, Mia, in her cute lil Halloween sweater (she gets so cold! Haven’t had a chance to post my weekend activities, I planted celosia & two sun patients my mom gave me for helping her redo her pots for fall, 😊 (1&2) I also gave my Graptopetalum Titubans Props more space, I love the vessel they are in, which I had to drill some holes in. I love my boyfriend’s diamond bit drill it’s awesome! 😅 also look how big my Pachyphytum ‘starburst’ props are getting ! 😍 (3&4) We also carved our pumpkin together on Sunday morning 🎃 it’s a cute little ghost that matches our outdoor pillows on our bench, they also have cute little ghosts on them. Thanksgiving Cactus Flower Update!! The lil nubbins have gotten so big!!! They are definitely not new baby segments which is amazing! Happy Wednesday #GregGang 🌾 Today my boyfriend brought a bunch of pansies home from work (two flats).. he’s a landscaper & right now he is doing fall flowerbeds & he gets to bring the leftovers home. He also was able to get some mulch. So when we got home we decided to redo our mailbox bed, for fall. It was long overdue, the mulch was washed away the plants were pretty much done for the season. Just spent an hour emergency repotting my foxtail fern because it had ants, I’ve never repotted a plant with tuberous roots before!! So many roots! I didn’t know my poor plant was so root bound I’ll definitely be checking up on my foxtail ferns more in the future. But I got BOTH my foxtail ferns repotted and they’re much happier I’m sure. 😅 I lost quite a few of the bulbs during repotting and I wonder if I can do anything with them..? hopefully my plants didn’t lose too many, there still seemed to be quite a lot in there. After surviving thrips this summer, my #SchismatoglottisWallichii is actually about to flower indoors! I’m so excited because that means he is feeling happy and healthy, despite still showing battle scars and damage that is slowly going away. I got this plant on a whim from Gabriella’s (IYKYK) for $9.99 and it’s been one of my favorites ever since! He lost a lot of leaves from the thrips, so part of me wishes he’d concentrate on regrowing those instead of flowers, but I have to remember that he is the one in charge; I just facilitate his ability to grow.
