I was so nervous to chop my ficus because I was afraid it would actually branch. I waited until March 1st, hoping the extra light would make a difference. I am so glad I waited. Both nodes on both stems activated. She was a very healthy plant so I think that helps too. Love her!!! #ficus #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #newgrowth #happyplants #plantaddict

Can someone help me diagnose what's wrong with my tineke Benjamina ficus? She seems very healthy overall, pushes new leaf growth -- at least one every couple of weeks -- but her older leaves are crispy brown around the edges. I thought maybe I was overwatering her at one point, because she started to drop leaves, but then I cut back on the water, and still the browning is continuing. The newer growth is perfectly fine, no issues at all. Is it too much water, not enough water, or too much sunlight? Thanks in advance for your help! ❤️ #brownleaves #ficus #HappyPlants
