Happy Wednesday #GregGang 🌾 Today my boyfriend brought a bunch of pansies home from work (two flats).. he’s a landscaper & right now he is doing fall flowerbeds & he gets to bring the leftovers home. He also was able to get some mulch. So when we got home we decided to redo our mailbox bed, for fall. It was long overdue, the mulch was washed away the plants were pretty much done for the season. It’s technically hump day since it’s after 12:00am.. so happy hump day #GregGang 🐫 Today I did a Fall planter at my moms with Kale, variegated lariope & celosia. I think it looks so pretty especially the colors together. 🌿 I’ve also repotted 7 of my succulents the past two days, which are also some of the photos shown but not all (I’ll post the rest in comments). 2. Back in the mountains this week for my niece’s wedding and today was a beautiful day at Dollywood. SO MANY pumpkins and plants OH MY! I NEED THIS RIGHT NOW! We’re putting in those white hydrangeas with the cone shaped flowers and as I was looking around through Finnish nurseries to see what kind of plants they sell and I found THIS. I saw a pic of the beautiful orange, red, and yellow leaves first but when I saw that they had white flowers I realized it would be perfect there! Where I’m gonna plant them is right against the fence but it slopes down so water pools there but that’s great because these like swampy areas! 😆 The only thing is is there a concern for them becoming invasive? I think it said they grew in North America somewhere. Autumn will always be my favorite season. I love all the seasonal flavors, making cider, carving pumpkins, putting gardens to bed, canning, pies, jeans and a sweatshirt are my go-to outfit, the colors, being able to do anything outside without melting, I could go on and on. There is a storm coming tonight and we are looking at 40+ mph gusts so they are telling us we are going to lose all our foliage 😞. I'm trying to soak in all the colors before they go. Also needed some extra oomph from my #gregmug since today has already been a doozy. So I was moving my #FloristKalanchoe to a better spot where they can soak up the sun. And Mina apparently was SO intrigued that she had to throughly sniff them (TWICE!) after I put them there causing her to knock them over! 😂 THANKFULLY after soaking in all the (apparently) interesting sents they are now Mina approved!
