This is my elephant bush when I got it vs now (pls don’t judge me im new to bonsai :( ) does anyone know what i could be doing wrong? At first I thought i was underwatering it but now I think it’s more likely overwatering as the branches feel a bit mushy

Hello! I am trying to figure out if my elephant bush is over or under watered? It has dropped a lot of leaves since I got it and the branches feel somewhat soft. The leaves are also yellowing around the perimeter.

Anyone know why my leaves keep falling off? Looks like they’re not yellow. Maybe a little brown? The leaves are just shriveling up and falling off.

6 WEEK PROPAGATION UPDATE: The final update! I have decided to give up on the leaves because they have not grown roots yet and I already used my pot planting the #TwoRowStonecrop and #ElephantBush stems. The stems are doing good. New owner of an elephant bush in a hanging basket. Simple question. Can I hang it outside in the brutal missouri summer heat or is it best hanging inside close to a window?

#succsunday 🤗🌿 Got to update some plant photos on my oasis, we had a lot of rain this week. I had too move some plants into a dry area because it was getting to wet, and ended up rotting a couple succulents last week, 😪. 1. Variegated ‘Elephant Bush’, she has really filled out since repotting her. 2. Sempervivum doing good in the landscape so far. It’s planted into the ground in a rocky full sun bed. 3. Stonecrop & ‘Golden Sedum’, the stonecrop is basically taking over the planter lol 😳 4. Smooth Prickly Pear Cactus, I got to repot this about two days ago into a new hanging planter. I repotted about two months ago but it was already time for another repot. 🪴 fun fact about this plant- my boyfriend brought this home from work, one of his jobs he found this volunteer cactus just growing randomly in some pine straw, so he dug it up & brought it home to me 🤗 it has trippled in size since then! 5. ‘Five Stamen’ Graptopetalum, a slow grower but very pretty! 5 WEEK PROPAGATION UPDATE: The roots on the stems in water grew like crazy so I decided to plant them. 3 WEEK PROPAGATION UPDATE: The #ElephantBush stem now has roots! The #StringOfPearls stem has no roots yet and the #TwoRowStonecrop still is growing roots like last week. None of the leaves on the paper towel have grown any roots. I’ve been spraying them with water but I’m not sure what else to do. The roots are growing up causing the branch to lean forward- how do I stop this?

Is the plant dying? I recently re-soiled it and transferred it to the clay pot. The main stem seems to be getting dry and leaves are also falling. It stays indoors near the windows getting sunlight for like ~15 mins everyday. I water it every ~10 days.
