My girl needs rescue! Very droopy and losing volume. I’m following Greg’s watering schedule with distilled water. 3 feet from a window with diffuse light. No direct. Sits above a humidifier aiming for 50% humidity. What else does she need?!

Calathea/Maranta/Prayer Plant/Ctenanthe Love Post. ✨ I have 5 of these babies and they never cease to impress me. A Calathea Dottie, Red & Green Prayer Plants, a Cathedral Window, and a Never Never Ctenanthe. How striking their leaf patterning is, their colors, how they MOVE and close up at night. (Pic of my Cathedral Windows in the comments while she's closed-she moves the most out of everyone.) I also love how their new leaves are all rolled up when they emerge. They are just fascinating plants and among my very favorites! I actually have two more not pictured: a Calathea Beauty Star who is in water, and my Rattlesnake Calathea, but they're in different rooms so no recent pics. If I remember I'll snap photos of them too and put them in the comments! What do you think I did to cause shrivelling? Sunny, indirect spot, abeit near heaters, ph is 6.6, humidity around 50%. Water normal today. Recently moved house, sprayed neem, added a plant light. Tips are often crispy from neglect.

🤩 From the #GregPlantShop! A #calatheamakoyana or also known as #cathedralwindows. I named her Gertrude The Great after a nun who was a saint in the Middle Ages. She's so beautiful and the intricate patterning on her leaves is outstandingly striking. My plant was doing great up until a week. Now the leaves are curling up and drying out. It's very hot this summer so have been watering it every 3 days with a spray. Not sure what is going on and if they're curling due to too much or not enough water.
