I want my money back. My Boston fern is slowly dying and I have done everything right by the book. Make that happen now.

What is going on with Melvin! I just got him two or so weeks ago, thriving and has been perfectly fine until two days ago when he started to wilt? I wait until the soil is completely dried up to water, moved him further from the window but I’m in rainy season in the west coast so not much sun happening anyway. I’m a very new plant owner and am unsure on how to identify and fix theses issues. Any help appreciated! #BostonFern

It was it rough shape when I got him and started to look better no more leave’s dropping but now it’s brown leaves are falling and becoming bald. What can I do to fix Ulysses?

Kylie is quite large but has brown leaves throughout her. She seems to be root bound. I’m new with ferns. Should I just try and gently PULL her apart into 1/3 or 1/4 sections or individually slice her into quarters before replanting them?

Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread 🥱🤗 its Saturday morning and its another HOT day in store for kansasland. Its pretty much a repeat of yesterday but its a little hotter even this morning. Ive already been up awhile doing some planty things, cleaned up my syngoniums, watered a few things, put a few more ties on my painted lady... 🤔. Busy busy! I repotted 8 hoyas last night from 5" terra to 7" extra deep clear pots, which i love🥰! ..... side note .. i buy the odd ball size clears or terra cotta if i can so i can sit those into standard size ceramic decos. Ok back to our post🤷‍♂️😂. I think that all i have to report anyway. What have you all been up too, or doing this weekend so far? We had some great pictured in yesterdays post and i think i finally got enough rest to give you a real #TheThread posting🙌 Our first epic photo was shared by none other than @CourtlyKingfern of the perfectly stunning okinawa alocasia shes been hiding from us🤩. The variegation is amazing but i really love the way these kind of spiral out on the petiole. Photo 2 ofc came from the orchid queen @MusicalRedmint of this beautiful display of phal orchid blooms😍. The mix of two shades of pink from the front and back of the flowers is some SWEET eye candy🍬🍭! Our 4th pic was shared by @ILoveMyPlants of this elegant boston fern soaking up some morning rays😎. Youve done an amazing job Deb! I dont think i see 1 brown tip, its ABSOLUTELY PERFECT🙌. Photo 4 is from @Hoyaobsessed HAPPY HOUSE of PROPS🤗! And boy are they happy in their little beds of media living the high life in that nice warm window🥰 And our last photo.... well thats pretty self explanatory and i could relate! 😂😂 Thats the end of my senseless babble for the day 🙏🙌! I found several caterpillars on my Boston Ferns and even one on my Rabbits Foot Fern. What can I do to keep them from destroying my beautiful ferns?!? Thanks for helping me try to keep these fern babies alive.

I bought a boston fern at home depot but it was completely a root ball in the pot. I put it in a larger pot with some more dirt but now its almost dead. There’s just 2-3 green fronds left. How can I rescue it?

I live in a dry and hot climate. I would like to leave my fern outside so that it can get Sun because the front of my house faces north/ northwest and the sun doesn’t particularly shine inside of my house. So should I leave it outside?

I finally found a cheap little terrarium jar to put parts of my three #Fittonia plants in 😇 Lowe’s had the jar on the clearance cart with two poor dead air plants inside 🥲. I got it for a steal, removed the dearly departed, and the rest is all glued in with concrete or something, so i just sanitized it and put soil on top, and hoped for the best. Lol. I’ve been wanting to try making a terrarium for a while because they look so pretty. Many thanks to my #NervePlant Andromeda (green), Charlotte (red), and Cassandra (pink) for each donating a piece for this fun little project. Also, my dog Mia looking extra cute (she really loves her dad), and I finally got a #BostonFern and I welcome any fern tips!
