My evening routine now includes a few checks of the anise hyssop to coo over my guests. As a kid I found it so annoying to discover my mother had taken pictures of me sleeping. I finally (sort of) get it. Busy tonight. The bees in particular find the flowers not just delicious but the perfect place to sleep. They lock their mandibles on to a petal and drift off... I've never seen so many sleeping bees as I have in the last couple of weeks. Bees experience the same sleep cycles as we do.
