Finally got my plant room organize for winter 🙌🏻🤩 I’m so happy with how much more room I have & how much better it looks. Although I still need to get a few grow lights, it just ain’t in the budget right now 🤣.. I got the lamp & kitty picture (photo 1) for my birthday on Wednesday from my grandma & I thought they would both look awesome in my plant room. I also have my #NewPlants my mom got me set up on the table with my humidifier since you guys told me Philos & Hoyas like humidity 😏 #PlantCorner Picture two & three are the top of my plant shelf, I have it decorated as of now but that may change if I don’t end up having enough space for my plants 😬 I have my seashells displayed, & other plant related Knick knacks & my mushrooms 🍄 My new mushroom planter is super cute 🥰 a gift from my Boyfriend for my birthday. Photo 4 is over view of my plant corner, with all of my shelves & my storage shelf for my plants tools/fertilizers etc. Lastly I couldn’t finish the post up without a #BloomingSuccs photo. 🤭 Aloe ‘Delta Lights’ is growing a flower I think, yay! It’s put a lot of new growth at the top of the plant since I repotted it into a much bigger pot. Over here in zone 6- #WinterIsComing and I’ve been trying to learn about #GrowLights but then I started thinking about #SadLights for #depression and #SeasonalAffectiveDisorder and I was wondering if #SadLights could work with grow lights for plants and humans?

Winter shelf redo. Oh if I only had room for more of these plant shelves! Moved some guys around, have a few plants I want to try to #swapdontshop or sell, and have all my cold-sensitive babies in the house now (mermaid tail, plumeria, desert roses, crown of thorns). My hibiscus are all huge so they’ll have to cuddle together in the greenhouse or garage, along with my monster Japanese maple and some others. #WinterIsComing

I I will say it has been a very busy weekend/week so far, getting things together for the winter, I built a shelf painted it, got new grow lights, and even got plant mail (pic 3) from my new plant pen pal ! @Lifeis2short 🤗🌸🌿💌 (she’s getting hers soon guys don’t worry) Now all that’s left is to make some room for my new (very large and heavy) Shelf! The best part was I didn’t have to pay a dime, I had some wood 🪵 donated to me for the cause, as well as some leftover paint. I did have to go buy some grow lights but anything to make my plant babies happy! 🥰 I also rewarded myself with two new plants, since I finally have more room for them (pillow foot crinkle leaf & a crassula I can’t remember the name right this second. 😉 #PlantShelfie #GrowLights #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove #PlantMail #WinterIsComing #PlantAddict #diy

Tis' the season! I decided to treat my #amaryllis right this year and keep them growing all summer. Normally I let things die back after a bloom then stick bulbs in the basement. While they grew back I was depriving them of the energy needed to flower again. I just took them out of their pots, trimmed their leaves, and now I'll put them in the basement for 6-ish weeks. I tried to clean off some of the first but I didn't want to disturb the roots too much before dormancy. I'm hoping to finish removing the soil once it dries a little and then convert them to leca when I pull them back out (Google it, they look SO pretty).
