At first I unpotted and thought “Ok! These roots look alright.” But something told me to remove some more soil and 😩🙊 There were the cages!!! You wanna talk about a time cutting those things and untangling roots. Even though the roots look healthy, I can’t imagine that she was happy in there. As I released her from her prison, it reminded me of when I’d take off my wig or my bra at the end of a long day 😏😂 FREEDOM!!! Sweet sweet release!!! So glad I saw your post. I’m almost scared to check my silver bay 😬 but now I have to. Question for you: my rectangular planter is only 3 1/2” deep and 12” wide. There’s something special about her…can’t quite put my finger on it yet. But I feel that her heart is tender and pure. There’s a sweetness and vulnerability about her that draws me in and I’m grateful that I’ve gotten to know her outside of this app. Aside from the fact that she sent me these beautiful Swedish ivy cuttings this weekend, she is genuinely a sweetheart and a sister (for more reasons than one). She advised me to chop it back, put it in a storage bag for awhile and plant soon after. This growth and progress that you guys is from October 4 to today. Just over one month!! 30 short days!!! This was my first real plant project and rehab. And let me tell you…if this little baby can find new life in my novice hands then there’s hope for all of us!!! 😂🙌🏾💚There are a lot of photos but hopefully they post in order. But trust, you’ll be able to identify the first and last photos. Every single plant gives me something different to admire. I think that’s what it is. I always have something new and fresh to look at in each plant baby. Not to mention some of the names 😂 and the planters. My eye is drawn to each and every one for very distinct reasons Mary.
