This GIANT tradescantia zebrina provided enough cuttings to fill the entire smaller pot, plus make some cuttings for me to start in water. This thing roots from cuttings easier than anything else I’ve ever had. Well, except hardy sedums. Sedums are on another level. This is the tradescantia zebrina that lives in a forgotten pot on our lawn that I had my girls stick a couple of cuttings into that had broken off my zebrina. Or I believe a couple I had gotten off the ground at a box store. And it's doing wonderfully! While mines is a pain in the behind that I swear breaks a limb every time I move it. Drives me nutso. This lawn zebrina gets watered whenever it rains or if the lawn happens to get watered.. no rhyme no reason no rhythm. And it's thriving. My granny-in-law loves my tradescantia and told me to bring her some cuttings when they were ready. My neighbor discarded a bunch of cuttings so I told her I would bring her a couple this weekend. It included an #Anglaonema that I immediately potted and watered (I’m in love with it), a little tiny #TradescantiaZebrina cutting 🥹, a #PearlsAndJadePothos cutting that I’ve been looking for FOREVER AND ALSO included one of my #wishlistplant cuttings, a #SilverSwordPhilodendron!!! 😭💚🌱✨ I placed them in #PothosWater yesterday before heading out for work and checked on them this morning. I cut the wild #tradescantiazebrina in my front yard. They were in a random abandoned pot my mom had left out. My daughter's had stuck a couple of cuttings in there in spring, and they took off. Heck they look better than the tradescantia in my house! So today I cut them down and stuck them in a pot before the cold really gets to them good.
