☀️ Hello #brunchataudreys 🌿 brunch bunch! It’s Friday morning, I’m sitting on my living room floor in my pj’s inspecting leaves and talking to my plants and thinking about my life choices 🪴 and remembering that last night right before I fell sleep I said “oh just get them,” and impulsively bought a couple wish list plants on Etsy and then was asleep before my head hit the pillow 😴 I’m looking at you @IdPlantThat and @Araceae for plant-fluencing me with pics of your beauties yesterday! 🤣 How is everyone doing today? The last few days have been wild rainy, windy with interspersed rainbows before back to storms. Last night while we walked to my daughters school for parent teacher conferences (luckily school is very close) I realized my raincoat bit the dust and I was getting cold water dripping down the back of my neck through my busted hood BRRR 🥶 Probably should have impulsively bought a new raincoat before I bought new plants 😂 My daughter however, pushed back her hood, and used her *closed* umbrella as a prop while she sang and danced the whole way to school in her light up rain boots. I might have launched into “singing in the rain,” and embarrassed her 😁 1️⃣2️⃣ My impulse buys (seller pics, not mine…YET) 3️⃣ my polka dot begonia flowering 4️⃣ my philo Brazil just loving life 5️⃣ my calathea family group photo How is everything in your oases today? My nampula is drooping and has some rot on the stems. Too much water? Can it be revived by replanting some good parts?

Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread Its a rainy Thursday morning in kansasland, but its still a nice morning really. 68 degrees and no wind just the pitter patter of rain is pretty relaxing☺️. I did a little watering yesterday afternoon but not much else. How was everyone elses HUMPDAY? Its luxury vinyl day at work so it will be a full day, no coming home at noon for me today😤. Atleast its not 100 degrees anymore so that makes it a little better! Can anyone tell me what these reddish brown spots are? I bottom water so his leaves don't get wet and the grow light he's under is not super strong, and he is still pushing out new leaves. Is it a disease or fungus? I'm at a loss here 🤷🏾‍♀️

#freshleaffriday Magpie's newest leaf is lookin gobsmackin gorgeous after taking forever to open up ☆v☆ I love the fenestrations when they get like this. Just look at the lil tiny hole on the inner part of the leaf <3 And Flareblitz' bloom is keepin on steady so far ☆w☆ can't wait to see what the flowers look like Suprise! To me. I got suprise plants. The soil from Ace apparently has seeds in it and now I'm kinda just letting them grow until I know what they are and can move them so they don't crowd my string of hearts. The grass (pretty sure it's grass) will be gotten rid of prbably, but the other one I have np idea what it is. Mystery soil. Sad plant owner here. I have no idea what happened. She was flourishing. And now she’s not well at all. I’ve moved her, changed watering and have her outside now. Nothing is working and I think I killed her.

Roots started growing like... the day after I put him in water and now he's like this after 13 days The water used to be up to the node I guess he was just really wanting some water x] after being rootless in a cup of dirt for a while Those leaves are both new, too. <3 he's recovering wonderfully from being mauled by the plant menace cat I wonder what I'm supposed to do with the dead part on the top, though. I'm not sure how I'm supposed to prune it to make it grow back. And don't ask what this contraption is that I built to keep him up 😂 I had to engineer it with what I had upstairs cuz I didn't want to go downstairs to get anything. Plant menace at it again }:c He ate all the leaves off of Nakoo and uprooted my string of hearts again. The little tuxedoed monster. He eats all the toxic plants. He bites Magpie whenever he gets a chance. He seems fine though. Like a dog that can eat chocolate and be fine I really should've repotted Nakoo a while ago cuz I've discovered the poor guy hasn't even grown roots yet. I've put him in a cup of water now. We'll see what happens. The water cup is the only way I've gotten stubborn cuttings to root so far. Really hoping it works cuz I really don't want to lose him. On the plus side, Nakoo is growing a new leaf and what I think is a new stem piece. He's still alive :> The menace also spilled my spider plant, but it should be okay. Positive note, everything else is still growing and happy I'm pretty sure. My kalanchoe's new flowers are bright and stunning ☆v☆. Good morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread BOOHOO😢 its Monday. Hope everyone had a great weekend and got a chance to relax a bit. I might have relaxed a little to much🤷‍♂️. Im hoping for an easy week at work so i can make up for my overly relaxing weekend. Maybe ill get some of the stuff i planned on doing done before next weekend. What did you all do over the weekend? Good morning ☕️🌞 to #TheThread WOOHOO! its friYAY🙌! Thanks for all the get some rest wishes the last few days, i managed to get in 3 hrs yesterday afternoon. Then got up for 5-6 hrs and crashed out again for 3 more hrs😍. Im feeling much better now! Not much to report on plants today.... since i literally didnt do 1 plant thing yesterday lol🤷‍♂️. Ill have a few extra things to water today, but i was all caught up on that anyway after my last few sleepless nights. We will be going for the mid 90s for the next 5 days here in kansasland. Not terrible but its really our first week of prolonged heat. Gonna have to make sure everything outsides all set for that today after work. Its been a busy week on GREG at #TheThread and @TheConservator its been filled with lots of JAW DROPPER😱 plants great info & AMAZING PEOPLE🤩 anyone that doesnt think the #GregGang is the best group of people on the internet is CRAAAZY! There were a bunch of excellent additions to #TheThread yesterday. I had to break out the rototiller to weed out the BEST! I think youll enjoy todays line up ALMOST!!! As much as i did!... but thats a pretty high bar to jump! So without further delay heres your friday photo WAKE UP CALL☎️. For our first photo, ITS MEAN! ITS GREEN! And its looking to destroy those nasty pests that PLAGUE your garden oasis! Its THE VFT😈 that NEVER stops! @JesssJungle received this perfect little trappy from the #GregPlantShop yesteday and i gotta say im impressed! In photo 2 we have a show stopper phal orchid that just blooms and blooms! @RealSimpleMama says its adding buds to and old spike like some kind of STRANGE mutant out to take over her home😱! Sounds like a bit of HEAVEN to a planty! Lol. In our 3rd pic you best get your sunglasses out😎 cause these out of this world orange lilys growing @Hoyaobsessed home are sure to BLIND with that unreal orange dancing in the morning sun. Our 4 th pic was shared by our trades QUEEN @stephonicle, of her tradescantias ( sweet tabby) beautiful and soft hues of pink white and green all nestled togethor in an overflowing pot of happiness. And even though we had one of @MusicalRedmint orchids in the line up yesterday.... WELL I JUST HAD TO! I mean its perfection! Wouldnt you AGREE? Good M😤NDAY morning☕️🌞 to #TheThread . Rise and shine sleepy heads. I know i sure am! Wow what a weekend, pots and plants condensed, cleaning, shopping, and lots of GREGGING🥰. Sleep was sooo hard to come by though. I tossed for hours and hours the last 3 nights. As long as i can wake up this morning and get moving ill be ok! But prob be passing out soon as i get home from work 🤷‍♂️🥱. MAN! Yesterday thread just went on and on...... and ON! And there were so many amazing photos🤩🤩🤩! I mean you guys rule! I wont lie i had plans for a monday 10 pack! But we will start with 5 since the sleeps thick in these old eyes this morning🥹🙏. Keep these alive. Bring one here its a death wish. But hers is prob the nicest ive ever seen! And for our final photo opp! Im out on the porch for this mornings post where i hear rumbling of thunder in the distance. Its not going to@hit us though! Its just skirting the edge of town. I AM GREIVING, but the Greg community is truly outstanding! ❤️‍🩹❣️ Yesterday my world broke down, my plants were infested with THRIPS, I wouldn’t have known had it not been for the awesome people on here helping me through this as I had a complete mental breakdown, I lost about 15 plants yesterday, either to far gone, not worth putting into treatment or because of straight up DEATH. PLANTS ARE NOW IN THE ICU , updates to come. ***Also Garfield is now aswell in the ICU I will update everyone how he’s doing, his family is really concerned for him especially Jon.*** I had some awesome support from the folks on here and I can’t thank this community enough for the all help I’ve had, updates to come, as of now I have one tradescantia I think is safe, and also I have some Hoya cuttings that were with the tradescantia that I think might be safe, I will keep treating them with the insecticidal soap for now. Tomorrow I’m getting the end-all spray I’m hoping with this stuff and consistent use am and pm I can possibly save the remaining of my children. 😭❤️‍🩹😞 Big thank you for the help , shout out to @elisenavidad and @stephonicle ✨ without both you’re help I probably wouldn’t have noticed until it was WAY TO LATE. I have some experience with plants but never had much experience with thrips myself as an adult! New worst enemy. #thrips #thripsbegone #louisxvioasis #PestControl #plantICU #TradescantiaNanouk #Hoya #garfield UPDATE: the plant that infested my oasis was bought off market place on Facebook by a seller I thought I could trust I bought multiple syngoniums from them and they had my contact information, then did realize recently they had pest and didn’t contact me or inform me until I asked about it because the worst plant came from them. Please please please, Isolate your plants before integrating into your collection I can’t stress this enough it was my biggest mistake in this situation, even if you think you are clear always treat and isolate until you are CERTAIN.

I got this little hanger with Tradescantia Nanouk, Wire Vine and an Echeveria. I just watered it yesterday as soil was VERY dry. When should I repot these into their own containers? I’m soooo new to this!
