I found these guys this weekend. As I stated, even as a new plant couple the obsession is real. We went to 3 nurseries with our 2 corgis tagging along. Neither one gets into the plants. They don鈥檛 like the squirrels burying their nuts in the outdoor planters. The yard is fine, but not the pawrents plants. Whiskey even checks the plants if they need water but not get into even the mint which we do share with him. He waits for us to give it to him. Anyways back to this weekend adventure. Found some new pots on clearance too. We agreed this is the only way we will purchase pots for our babies! We are so excited for the monstera & zz! The desert rose is a special gift from my husband because he has always called me that because I am from Texas. I have this one tree inside my fenced yard that gets a lot of shade. I鈥檓 so happy I could find the Halcyon Blue Hostas to pair with Black Magic Elephant Ears beneath it. DH is tasked with fixing the retaining wall by making it a foot smaller and backfilling it with soil for the roots and bulbs coming in. I think these two will show well beneath the tree. First is one of my babies. Second and third are #plantrescue . We鈥檒l see how they do. Look at the color variation on them from experiencing a bit of cold. All of my babies are indoors except for the largest agave I have. Stay warm, folks! When your peace lily thanks you for giving her a slightly bigger pot (same diameter, about 1.5" deeper) by immediately starting to bloom. I was just going to be happy she didn't abort the new growth point I didn't notice until I had already pulled her out of her old pot, but I'll take this too 馃槅 #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #peacelily #texasgreggang

My silver jade plant has been bound and determined to drive me crazy since I got him. All the other plants from the succulent arrangement he was in have been growing happily in individual pots, some to the point that I've chopped/propped or been able to behead leggy growth and prop leaves, etc, but this guy has been doing a fat lot of nothing for months. I don't know if it's because of the dramatic increase in sunlight my southern windows get during the winter months due to how my house is positioned or because I suspected I was not watering him as often as he wanted and slightly adjusted my watering routine, but in the last week or two, the new leaves on top have legit tripled in side at least and now I've got a new branch starting off the lowest leaf! 馃槷 #succulentsquad #jadeplant #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict #texasgreggang
