Sunday=all day at one with nature and my plants 🧘🏻‍♀️ • Early spring, I pulled these seemingly dead garden phlox from a flower bed and tossed them in the compost pile, but they landed at the edge and I am not diligent about mixing it… so it’s less a compost pile than a pile of organic material doing nothing…which turned out to be a good thing when I noticed they’re in fact, very alive and blooming! So I rescued and potted them 😂 * Some critter keeps eating my burgeoning strawberries, and while I love to feed the local fauna, I want my berries! Hoping this little trick works. Thankful I saved all those organza bags from friends’ weddings lol 🍓 * Adorable golden slug that hitched a ride on the phlox from the not-compost pile… I gently returned it to its home after a quick photo session 🐌 * Of course, I have to share Benny. It rained off and on all day, but he stayed on his “porch” the whole time. Here he is enjoying the showers 🐸 * Pepe, Jr. was a gift from the lovely Marissa @Lifeis2short 💚 and I wanted to share how well he’s filling out with leaves, since he lost all but one after I unpacked him from the mail (he was jostled quite a lot by the post office… I’m very grateful he made a full recovery!). I collect syngonium and he is one of my favorites! He’s so beautiful and velvety. My Pearls and Jade #Pothos just put out the prettiest leaf 😍 and I realized my Red #Syngonium has some beautiful variegation! And my #SyngoniumWendlandii is also giving me lovely leaves! Hey guys!!! It’s #PlantProperThursday #PlantProperFanClub in LITERALLY 48 hours I received my 10$ tuesday box 📦 and it was shipped 30 mins after I ordered it, they are ON IT YALL. When I hit plant proper I did not purchase what I originally intended to (I blacked out) buttttt I got two GORGEOUS plant babies. I got a Syngonium Wendlandii (I think that’s how you spell it) and Monstera Pinnatipartita and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT This syngonium is so full so beautiful 2 new leaves rolling in it’s GORGEOUS, and the pattern on this Monstera yall the leaf is so beautiful and it even has a new baby! Hello, good mornting and Happy Saturday out there #GregGang Soooooo the #plantfairy 🪴🧚🏾‍♂️has been at it again in my life and I’m suuuuper grateful. Because this particular plant fairy was behind the scenes making a list and checking it twice in stealth mode. We’re on that group chat almost every darn day and she never let it slip that she was planning to get me these new babies or that she even remembered that I mentioned them awhile ago. But that just goes to show how her giver is set up. Big shout to my #PlantSis #NYCGregGang friend @LatiTish84 👏🏾💖🥰 for blessing me with my Syngonium Wendlandii (Wendy) 💚🤍🫶🏽🪴 (we’ve been eyeing this one for a minute girl!!!) and my Malay Gold (Asia) 💚💛💚💛 @ManyLime had a beautiful one and I just 💚 and 🤤 the photo.
