Good Morning fellow Greggers! I got to spend a few moments with my plant babies yesterday and I noticed some new growth. I know I missed #FreshLeafFriday so #showoffsaturday it is! 😂 Here are some of my fav pics of my babies thriving. 1) V. Syngonium with new sprouts all over 😍 I’m happy your happy sweetie. 2)Monstera Adasonii with a new leaf with little fenestrations 🥰💚 3) Philo Rio with a new baby! Hello little one 😍🫶🏾. 4) Epipremnum pinnatum with the Cinderella foot of a new leaf about to pop out! 😂💚 5) Marble Queen with an new unfurling leaf just looking adorbz 🤩🫶🏾. Let's #ShowOffSaturday !!!! And show off some of our #sciencewithgreg 🥰🥳🤯 I have been busy this week but I have FINALLY created a monster!!! I made a #monsterpothos or is it #frankenpothos ?! Maybe you in the Gregiverse can tell me??🤣🤣 So I threw together all my rooted pothos cuttings to create a #monsterpothos / #frankenpothos. I got some golden, cebu, some donated from a friend....and I plan to add a marble once I get roots. Together they will help each other be strong and grow. Can't wait to see all the new leaves!!! All in a free bowl .....showing you CAN do science even if you are #plantingonabudget !!🤣 Show me your science!!!!

So.....it's that time again #greggang! TIME TO #ShowOffSaturday and show Gregland all those #ScienceWithGreg experiments! I love to see everyone's plant-speriments!! 1st up I have my succulent prop bottle #officeplantsandprops style) I got great results from one echeveria leaf....if you zoom on your can see teeny weeny babies growing there!! I gave this to a patient as he was really into my plant stuff. We gently placed in dirt and I shared all the care advice I could think of in the moment. He wants to give it to his mom!🥺🥺🥰 Then we made a bottle prop for him to try with some leggy echeveria leaves I rescued from Walmart. Next experiment.....a stem.....no leaves but had nodes. @RJG told me and another #gregger that is was worth a try to get stems like this to root....never know as there is always potential for growth. Check it out.....got a root on there....amazing!!!! @kscape #pothoswater #succulentlove #pothos

Happy Saturday all of you #GregGang and #Greggers in the Gregiverse.  It's time to.... #ShowOffSaturday !! So......show me some of your #ScienceWithGreg experiments...I wanna see!!🤣😃🥰 This week I give you the fruits of my social science with Greg. An ongoing....ever changing....getting better every day "program" with plants I have at work. I have been collecting, talking about and showing off SO many plants at work with the hopes of getting my patients interested in plants and creating a great space for them to hang out for a bit if having a tough day.  I gifted my first plant taker....a great patient doing good work on himself... a total of 4 plants to represent kindness, patience, love and community.  I am also thrilled with the plant donations my local community has given to my plant room.  Here are the most recent shots of the plant room....showing lots of planty #RuralVTCommunityLove 🥰🥰 @sarahsalith @kscape @leighannm  #officeplantsandprops

Last winter I rescued what appears to be a Hoya Burtoniae. It always seems to be barely hanging on! It has been a slow success story but today from the depths of the ugliest prop box.... I have roots!!! The prop box lives outside and gets maybe an hr of direct early morning sun. It contains sphagnum moss...orchid bark....water.... and NO ventilation holes. I open the box every week or longer and half assedly change the water every month or longer....the less I touch it, the better it does! It is and has been home to many props including a few pothos nodes so I'm sure the moss is laced with #pothoswater. This little box is my go to for props i cant shove in a glass jar....like pieces of a shingle plant (I rescued 2 months ago from Lowes clearnce) and now, even more cuttings from this #damnhoya! #hoya #showoffsaturday #sciencewithgreg #sadplants

#ShowOffSaturday is normally used to show off our science. This week I want to show off some magic!!! Meet Forget MeNot.....a forgotten aloe I saved from a windowless abandoned office. I was just a novice plant addict at the time....but Greg was here.....so I took him home and vowed he would not be forgotten again! I now have green plump leaves and a fresh one growing to thank me for my efforts! 🥰🥰🥰 Greg and it's community have helped me and my plants thrive! Gregarious is the father of a community.....teaching it to be plant positive, give generously and share love plants and positivity with all who join it! #IamGregory! A person born of Gregarious, planting seeds of positivity and reaping the rewards of this loving community he created. Thank you ALL for being here and being you. I went to Home Depot for soil and this Echeveria Perle Von Nurnberg begged to be taken home, none of the ones I saw were in good shape, this one looked the best. On the way home the top got broken off 😭 1. Will she grow more leaves or shoots at the top? 2. Do I propagate the top in water? #sciencewithgreg updated for my #ShowOffSaturday String of rubies experiment. I have combined my pothos VS tap babies, 2 well established SOR cuttings and my beautifully purple stemmed office SOR prop together to create: Office FrankenRuby 👾 (in her new #potsthatarenotpots) 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳 I plan to continue to water with pothos water and allow all to become sunstressed cause I am in love with the deep purple vines!!! 🥰🥰

So I did a thing...... Is this enough to qualify for #sciencewithgreg or #showoffsaturday.....unsure. BUT.....I do have on my hands one #MonsterTradescantia ..... #tradescantiatroupe #tradescantiazebrina I took all the cuttings that rooted from the donated ones at the office. I think I count.....4 different kinds in there!😃
