Monday again 🫩.. I repotted some of my cacti together this weekend with my new Sol Soil mix.. I can’t wait to see how they do. My birthday is Wednesday & tomorrow I will be celebrating one month sober! It’s the first birthday I’ve had sober in 5 years so I’m very excited and proud! My ruby necklace has a lil flower! 🌼 My moonstone also has two forming flower stalks I’m hoping I will get to see atleast one of them bloom before it gets too cold and I have to bring them inside because I’m not sure if they will continue to flower or try to flower indoors. 😬 I took my Echeveria Blue Atoll out of the pot I put my cacti in, and had to go out to buy a new pot since I didn’t have anything big enough for it!! I finally repotted my orchid into a bigger pot. I was not expecting all the bark to fall away from the roots when I took it out of the pot it was in! I hope a put enough bark back around and in between the roots. I assume next time I water it more bark might be needed. #OrchidLovers #repotting #repottingorchids

It’s Friday Eve finally 🙂‍↔️ My boyfriend took me to Home Depot to pick up some necessary supplies, I got fertilizer but sadly they were out of perlite … how does a garden store run out of perlite?!😟 Anyways so instead I used that as an excuse to get some plants… he put a limit on my plants so I only got two 😒 lol jk… someone needs to monitor my addiction… I got a Othonna Capensis ‘Ruby Necklace’ & an Aloe ‘Purple Haze’ I redid the big pot yesterday & finished it today with a string of things because I felt like it needed it, & I love the pop of color. It also has Echeverias, (3) and a pachyveria of some sort, in the middle not sure which kind. It’s technically hump day since it’s after 12:00am.. so happy hump day #GregGang 🐫 Today I did a Fall planter at my moms with Kale, variegated lariope & celosia. This weekend was very eventful to say the least. While trying to remove my monstera from the pot, one of the plants happened to snap off about 2 leaves up the main stem, leaving the majority of that plant without roots 🙃 it happened to have had a few aerial roots that previously embedded themselves into the dirt and grew a small but decent root system, so I went ahead and repotted it anyways in hopes that it recovers. If it doesn't die I guess I'll have 3 monsteras lol I also took some pups that grew off the main stems and placed them in some Leca clay balls to propagate and also repotted my Thai as well. Hopefully I didn't make them too angry by separating (and breaking) them 😅 #monstera #repotting

Got to repot some things today & yesterday, whilst repotting my Aloe ‘Delta Lights’, I dropped it on its head and broke some leaves 😭.. it was so root bound and stuck in the pot, I quite literally had to fight with it for a about ten minutes to get it out the pot it was in.. 😒 when I dropped it upside down… the whole rootball (the dirt) fell apart & the dirt got all over the plant & crevices 😟. All in all it was a STRUGGLE to repot it, but I was able to get it done, lesson learned *don’t let it get so rootbound to where it’s almost impossible to get it out of the pot*… (photo 1) I also repotted my Silver Snake Plant today in my other 20 inch teracotta bowl, (the aloe went in the other one). I wanted to use them for an arrangement, but honestly my plants have gotten so big this season to where I don’t even have pots big enough to repot a lot of them right now. 😫 so I just had to use them for one plant, which is fine because honestly those plants both need more space to grow. (Photos 2-3) I put my Graptopetalum ‘Superbum’ in the pot that I took my Aloe ‘Delta Lights’ out of. It had slowed growth & the dirt just seemed kinda hydrophobic. I’m hoping to see a little growth before I have to bring it in during winter. (Photo 4) Lastly, the Aloe ‘Delta Lights’ looks like it’s starting to form a flower stalk.. it’s never bloomed before, I’m hoping me repotting it while it’s actively trying to flower isn’t gonna stunt or affect it. Hit up a yard sale today, actually two but I had some good luck at the first one. They had lots of plants & pots (even better they were teracotta!). I got the two bowls for 2$ a piece, they usually go for about 15-20$ at Home Depot or Walmart, so It was a score in my book. I also got a 6 inch teracotta pot for 75 cents (not pictured, will add in comments), & a plant riser for 50 cents. (Photos 4&5) I repotted my moonstone into the 6 inch pot & also divided it. I knocked off a few leaves, so I decided to prop them. (photo 2) I also went by Home Depot & picked up the extra-large bag of cactus soil, so in turn- I was finally able to pot up my starfish aloe. (Photo 4) All in all it was a great plant day/plant chore day. Repotted and propagated my cebu blue, cause it was looking ugly. I think I left too much residue from neem oil on the leaves a while ago so I gave it a lukewarm bath and chopped off all the ugly leaves. The plastic pot goes with me to my dorm, the terracotta with no drainage is left at home. It will be watered just like my philo brasil and birkin, which are also in no drainage terracotta. And the cuttings are waiting for tomorrow, I'll plant them into this pot they're in, and some will go into my spartan prop box. Will cebu blue pothos go well with other pothos? I'm thinking about letting some graduate from the prop box. Mixed salad pothos. Yeahhh I'm gonna do that. #cebubluepothos #repotting #propagation

Happy Friday #GregGang 😎🌿 I’m looking forward to this 3-day weekend. I did some repotting/upgrading today, two of them were sick not to long ago but seem to be bouncing back now, thank the Plant Gods! 🤭 1. Kiwi Aeonium, moved from a 3 inch glazed clay pot to a 5 inch terracotta pot, I also moved it back outside in my screened in porch. 2. Pearl Echeveria, recently was chopped and propped after it got to much rain & rotted, I was able to re-root & it’s now taking well to being back In a pot & back outside, It’s now in a 3 inch glazed clay pot. 3. Graptoveria Titubans Variegata, this one was also chopped & propped after its stem rotted & it flopped over after a lot of rain, I re-rooted under grow lights, put it in a 1 inch terracotta pot till it had enough roots to be moved into a 3 inch terracotta pot. It was also moved back outdoors onto my shaded porch as well. 4. Echeveria Compressicaulis, moved this up to a 3.5 inch terracotta pot & also moved to an area with more shade instead of direct sun all day. 5. Peanut Cactus, this cutie was actually repotted last week, into a 3.5 inch terracotta pot, its babies are getting so big, it only was one piece when I got it almost a year ago, (it had no pups/arms). #WhatTheSuccWednesday #WhereIsWhatTheSuccWednesday Happy Hump 🐫 Day! *whoot whoot!* 🎉 Photos 2-5 are my repots from this past weekend. 🌿 1- my #PlantCorner on our screened-in porch, out back. It’s just so nice to see all my plants just co-existing with one another! *FUN FACT*: I’ve heard that plants placed next to each other tend to do better, & actually prefer to be around each other. It’s almost like they thrive on each others company & vibes 🤭🤷🏻‍♀️ how neat is that? 2- Golden Torch Cactus got moved to this bigger pot, (my turtle pot). I moved my sick jade tree out of the turtle pot, and moved my cacti into it. I’ve had this cactus cluster for 4 (going on five) years, it was only one cactus stalk when I was gifted it my bestfriend, now it’s five! 3- Lipstick Echeveria also was moved to a new hanging pot, onto the back porch. 4- Cylindrical Snake Plant, was moved out of my the hanging pot, my Lipstick Echeveria is now in. ^ (from photo 3 above), and moved into a larger terracotta pot my mom gave me recently. 5. Lastly my Lady Finger Cactus has {finally} gotten a noticeable amount taller, I put it into a new slightly larger (3.5) inch terracotta pot.
