Hello #GregFam, haven't updated things on my side for a while. Just some quick plant updates! Hoya 'Rebecca', my first ever Hoya is doing marvellous! Exploded with new growth and another round of blooms, plus more peduncs on their way! This is a massive new leaf on a Philo 'Paraiso Verde'. Just so you know, this baby is not on a pole, plus it gets afternoon AND evening sun on sunny days. Mother Nepenthes x 'Gaya' with new pitchers as the old ones fade. There's something lovely about new pitchers. Help me procrastinate! I know I am, and I’m perfectly fine with it. I just don’t want to finish up my work yet, and I keep getting sidetracked by these CMDs. They saw me coming! 🏃‍♀️💨 To help me back to reality or something like it, so I can be back on track to finish my work tomorrow, here’s my procrastination question: 🫶🏻 What did everybody get or want to get on Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals? Hello everyone, I hope you are well. Here are two avocados that I have propagated. I found out that spending them in water isn’t very good. In my opinion, putting them in soil with a pointy side of the pit up and about a third of the pit sticking out of the ground works better. While probably getting the avocado pit, remember to put a clear plastic cup over the top it creates a little greenhouse. After it’s sprouts remove the cup. This morning I went outside and found a new one about 3 inches tall, which is not in this picture. Good morning from the West Coast of Florida everyone. These are my African milk plants. They appear as cacti but are actually succulents. They are fast growing and have grown approximately 10 inches. (25.4cm) since August. 📸 Photo dump of some of my unusual and/or rare succulents… 1) Lithops lesliei v hornii 'Greenhorn' - My first successful lithops bloom!😃 2) E. unguiculata 3) Korean E. 'Tinkerbell' 4) Korean E. 'Snow Bunny' 5) Pleiospilos nelii 'Split Rock' - survived 6 seasons with me outside and is splitting again! P.S. The lithops / split rock I’ve been growing outside on a wire rack on my open deck with a sheer plastic covering to protect from rain… I think I watered the lithops a total of 6 times this year (I got it in April)!
