It’s been a while Greg! Well I’ve been posting on a Facebook plant tips and tricks group for a few months, but I just left this said group because of the admins. They refused my post about my burrows tail propogation saying I wasn’t giving any tips… 😭🤣 okay then if you won’t appreciate it , GREG WILL. So I explained how it took like 4-5 months for the babies to show and it was a very long process of gentle care to actually transplant them into the soil, my tip was to use tweezers and be VERY GENTLE. But Facebook said that was good enough advice lol? Okay I know it’s not rocket science but I was also excited to share because they are so cute and it’s not easy to actually successfully get these to WORK. Okay so anyways I left the Facebook group and decided to go back to sharing my joy of plants with my Greg folks who aren’t so picky about what I post! 🐸☕️ #burrowtailgoals #burrowtails #Propagation #louisxvioasis

I got Biancé on 9/5. I chopped and propped that same day and now I have 5 (2nd pic has two) #MonsteraAurea! Some propagation updates 🌱 for #succulentsaturday I repotted a few of them in a size bigger pot, because they seemed to need more room a bit quicker then I expected. I also started some new props, of my Moonstone & Sedeveria ‘Lilac Mist’ (Sedeveria will be in comment section). The Sedeveria actually took like two weeks to even start rooting but they have all started growing roots 🙏🏻 as well as the moonstone, I also have a random Graptopetalum Superbum & graptoveria Opalina that have started rooting as well (not pictured). 1. #FreshLeafFriday just under the wire! Just wanted to share my first successful begonia propagation! 🥳 I’ve tried so many times with begonias, but they always just rot 🥲 but not this time! I did it! 🎉😆 seriously, though, it’s so tiny and cute. I might gift it to a friend, I might prop another one and make a second #PolkaDotBegonia for my office. Also, my #ChineseHibiscus is still blooming, and is doing it even faster than it did in the summertime! It took a while to build up the energy, I guess. 🌺🌺🌺 And a bonus picture of my chihuahua rescue, Mia, in her cute lil Halloween sweater (she gets so cold! It’s going to be a busy monday for me! I have lots of watering to do, fungus gnats to sort out and props to pot that I’ve been avoiding. I managed to rot a few hoyas when I was going through a down phase and I’m happy they’ve managed to prop so its potting time! Hope everyone is having a good weekend, Im pretty busy this weekend! Today my grandma had a yard sale, so me & my boyfriend went to help as well as sell some things. We plan to use the money we made for our day trip to Carolina beach tomorrow! 🌊 I’m super excited since we haven’t been to the beach in a while & haven’t gone on a trip this year together. Although it’s not summer anymore and won’t be as warm, which means I most likely won’t be able to get in the water 😞 I’m still happy that I will get to see the water & sand as well as smelling the salt! 🏝️ My grandma was selling these plant stands & since I liked them she gave them to me. ( photos 1&3) she also gave me a pup from her Haworthia since I repotted it for her while I was there. 🌱 I also had a few plants I didn’t sell at the yard sale, so I kept them & repotted them when I got home. I got two new cacti today 🌵 The first one is a Blue Myrtle Cactus, I love how tiny & cute they are. It’s kinda hard to tell the size in the picture but it’s in a 3 inch pot. The second is a Fire Barrel Cactus, I love the magenta spines at the top! As well as the ridges in the cactus, all together is a super visually stimulating plant with its unique textures & colors. 😍 I also potted up all my props that were ready for their own pot! Decided to plant my props in pots today, I was gonna try to wait till they dropped the mother leaf but I figured why not just go ahead and do it. I didn’t have enough pots for all of them but I’m glad I got some of them in their own home. Also some #BloomingSuccs updates 2. Graptoveria ‘Debbie’ had started to grow what looked like flower stalks, but since has slowed down because of weather changes I think. Still not sure if they are flowers or not. 3&4. Moonstone flower is getting longer and bigger and it put off another flower recently! I hope I get to see them before it gets too cold! 5. Arizona rainbow cactus , I mean look at those colors! Just to pretty not to post 🌈 it looks small but believe me it has grown since I got it! Haven’t had a chance to post my weekend activities, I planted celosia & two sun patients my mom gave me for helping her redo her pots for fall, 😊 (1&2) I also gave my Graptopetalum Titubans Props more space, I love the vessel they are in, which I had to drill some holes in. I love my boyfriend’s diamond bit drill it’s awesome! 😅 also look how big my Pachyphytum ‘starburst’ props are getting ! 😍 (3&4) We also carved our pumpkin together on Sunday morning 🎃 it’s a cute little ghost that matches our outdoor pillows on our bench, they also have cute little ghosts on them. I’m a #proudplantmom today!!! A month ago I got a Monstera Tricolor for the purpose of propagating. Leaf propagated sedum rubro has joined the party. I just wanted to show everyone this little guy. I haven’t been particularly lucky with leaf propagations, so I was surprised when this leaf (accidentally dropped by the mother plant), turned into this little thing and as small as it is, it has already developed 3 branches. I may have made a mistake repotting it too soon, but at the moment (2 days ago) figured it was time to leave the propagation tray. #Propagation #SucculentLove

Hi everyone! About 1.5 months ago, I planted three Alocasia Pink Princess corms, and one of them has finally started to sprout! This is my first time trying to propagate from corms. These are more recent pictures of my props, (so I’m gonna repost these and delete my earlier post if you already saw it. 😅) They are doing good so far, I’m keeping them under my grow lights, & watering them *LIGHTLY* every two or so days when the tray looks dry. For me it’s easy to prop them & get them started, the hard part is remembering to water them once they can no longer rely on the mother leaf for nutrients/water. They dry out much quicker than a mature succulent so you have to be sure to keep them moist while they are in that stage. I have a lot of time invested in these guys, so I really want them to grow into their own plant. Like I said I have success in getting them started, it’s the keeping them alive once they are on their own thing that I struggle with 😩. • 1&4. Varigated Graptopetalum ‘Titubans’ 2-3. Pachyphytum ‘Starburst’ 5.
