Ahhhh they came IN! This is half the order but last week or so HomeGoods had a deal on pots. And when I say a DEAL. I MEAN A DEAL. all pot sizes were $5!!!! THEYRE STILL ON SALE Look how FREAKIN CUTE THEY ARE WHAT! And some of them have holes at the bottom. How to deal with Gnats - #PlantingOnABudget edition 💸 Hey #GregGang 👋🏽 ✨ I thought I would share my “secret sauce”, a cost-effective way to catch those darn gnats! Along with sticky traps and systemics (that can be quite expensive!), I like to use my homemade gnat trap recipe that works GREAT! 🐛 I’ve realized shortly after getting into plants, that #NewPlants tend to come with infested or soggy soil that attracts buggies! I always either repot or quarantine my plant for at least a week, but sometimes even that won’t be enough, so I place my gnat traps! ✅ Here’s my “Secret Sauce” and what you’ll need : • Dish or Hand Soap (I use scented because I’ve noticed gnats like sweet scents) • Distilled White Vinegar/Apple Cider Vinegar • 70% Isopropyl Alcohol • Water ❗️Instructions : In a small dish or container (I use Powerade/Gatorade bottles) - 3 pumps of dish/hand soap - 2 teaspoons of Vinegar - 2 teaspoons of Isopropyl - Fill with Water ⭐️ I place these in between my props that like humidity (and are watered often) and they attract *most* gnats that fly around. Snek I bought yesterday for $6.98 the pot is breaking and the roots growing out of the pot. Went into #Ikea for another plant quarantine cart and also came out with 6 #Monstera for... 🚨✨ #DealAlert ✨🚨 Monsteras for $1.99 ...yup less than $2 folks! Make sure you check As-Is section for plant markdowns at Ikea! Leaves are in bad shape so they'll get pruned, but it probably just needs some water and light and I'll see new growth soon. *Note...while I am a #crazyplantlady , these are ALL gifts once I rehab for a month or so! Came up with a #PlantHack for #PlantingOnABudget! ✨🤭 Cleaning leaves. I’ve never had a designated “bottle” for my cleaning concoction so I always had to dump out whatever mixture I had in my spray bottle and then make a quick batch to clean leaves. If I had to use my spray bottle for something else, I’d have to dump out and redo the process over and over again. I’m done with that 😮‍💨 I’m a sucker for Bath & Body Works foam hand soap. I love them. I have too many empty bottles that have cute designs and their foaming mechanism works great. Well, WHAT IF I use the hand soap bottles for my leaf cleaning concoction? 🤔🤭 It works AMAZING. I mean, it’s just soapy water so it better work. I mix Water, Dish Dawn soap and a teaspoon of Neem Oil to clean my leaves ✨🌿 if you have these types of foam soap bottles (doesn’t have to be from BBW!!) USE THEM FOR YOUR CONCOCTIONS! Have you ever seen a hummingbird moth?? They are a real treat....at first you see a hummingbird...then your like is that a lobster bug?! Then you Google it and plant flowers to attract them... 😍🥰. I noticed this little creature when I was doing a photo shoot for my new arrangement. Made from a gifted pot, props, sections of a bigger SOP and a cool vertebra I found in the woods. #newenglandgreggang #hummingbirdmoth #plantingonabudget #greggang
