My mother in law texted to tell me all the plants at the popup green house at our local grocery store were 50% off. Got there and found out the pots were too. I think I just kind of blacked out and kept grabbing things. Mr. Big is showing out these days!! He was such an ugly duckling when I bought him! Totally bare up top, with LONG, THICK hanging stems, each one with just a few huge, deformed shape leaves!! I don't even have a before picture of him cause he was so ugly, it didn't even occur to me to take his picture!!! 😂 So I wrapped around and clipped up the vines that would go, changed his soil, trimmed the ugly leaves, fed him, watered, misted, moved back and forth for light twice a day every day, and BAM!!! Now he's a whole new plant!! Nothing to it, right?! 😂😂😂 Now he's popping out babies so gorgeous, you'd think he was Hawaiian!!!! I caved at work and bought plants 🥲 in my defense, I have been depressed lately and need new babies to try and fill the void in my heart 😂💙 ANYWAYS meet the new trio! Jubilee the Watermelon Peperomia, Kobe the Fiddle Fig (cause I hope himbs gets tall 💙), and Carnelia the Emerald Ripple Peperomia ❤️ I’ve fallen in love with those on my timeline so i had to have them 💁🏻‍♀️ Each one was repotted out of their nursery pots and into appropriate soil 💙 Roots were starting to poke out of the drainage holes and I think the soil was holding too much moisture so I didn’t want to risk root rot. Hey guys!! So I have a new gadget that I believe everyone on here would benefit from✨ I know watering days can be a hassle and I take up a lot of counter space so I hit Amazon and I bought a roll up drying rack for over the sink, I use it for plants of course and it makes life so much easier!!! Maybe I’m late to this train but total game changer!!! Super easy to wash too!! It makes drainage so much easier when it goes right into the sink, i fit 3 6in plants on the rack at the same time!!
