Y’all…. I got some #plantmail today and the #alocasias came with the ✨teeniest✨ little leafs I’ve ever seen from an Alo!! 😍🥳 I took a pic with my pinky nail for reference. Lol And both of my #AlocasiaZebrina babies are giving me new leaves! Last, but not least, my new #VariegatedAlocasiaFrydek and #VariegatedAlocasiaOdora are looking so fresh and cute! Not all of this was current week plant mail but all of the alo happiness has me ecstatic! Parts of my recent #planthaul. After getting all those seedlings, I decided to get some blooming #phalaenopsisorchid s as well - to tide me over until the small ones are big enough to bloom. Best decision I ever made: the left and the right one fill the whole room with their fresh fragrance smelling like sweet roses after a summer rain. And aren't they gorgeous? I think I am finally done establishing my new collection. Now, all that is left is: inhale deeply, wait for the others to grow and enjoy those blooms in the meantime. Btw: if you are one of those #orchidlovers who prefers phals and lives in Europe/ Germany: I can only recommend Orchideen Wichmann as a #plantmailsupplier. They have a great general variety, but especially of blooming or soon to bloom phalaenopsis. And judging by my experience at least, they are quick to ship and the plants arrive in perfect condition. And as I said: the smell, leaves and blooms just blew me away. #plantsmakepeoplehappy #plantaddict

#PlantMailSupplier brag post! Y’all, I’ve ordered from WishlistFoilage off Etsy four times now. All of the plants have been in wonderful condition when I’ve received them! This past order, the box was smooshed in a spot that unfortunately my #BlackVelvetAlocasia was in, and it damaged the stem. USPS didn’t pay attention to the large red Fragile sticker😅 I messaged them asking for advice since I am new to Alocasias and they not only gave advice, they also offered to send me a replacement Black Velvet, and an additional special bonus plant the next time I order! Y’all seriously need to order from them. They have a wonderful selection of plants and starter plants! These are the babies from the last order🤗

I know, I know. More #PlantMail 😂 But can I just say THIS is how starter plants should arrive. This plant arrived in a box large enough to fit a wine bottle and some protective wrap. It was nestled perfectly in the middle of the box surrounded by filler so it wouldn’t fly around. And it came with detailed care instructions. Most importantly, this beauty arrived with strong, healthy roots, about a 6-7” stem, and 2 beautiful leaves!!! And it was $18. 🤩🥳 Meet my Alocasia Zebrina! For those curious, this came from Amazon and the seller is ✨ The Green Escape✨! Hey there naming friends! I got a few new darlings via #PlantMail yesterday and I’d love to see some name suggestions! These beauties are all from Proven Winners Direct! $9.99 each and I feel like that’s a great deal! ✨Side note: they’re now offering school fundraising programs 👀 Instead of selling chocolates or wrapping paper, they could sell PLANTS! So spread the word to your local schools. I would love for a knock at the door to be a plant fundraiser! ✨ Back to the purpose of this post. For the last one (curly fern), I’m thinking either Shirley Temple, Annie, or Curly Sue. Let me know if you like any of those or have a new suggestion! It kind of looks like kale so maybe there’s a punny name that fits. 🤩 I do love a theme though and these 4 arrived at the same time so maybe there’s a 4some that is fitting! Just saw the great #plantmailsupplier idea and wanted to add my two cents - especially for #orchidlovers in Europe or even Germany specifically. This is my second time ordering a big haul from Schwerter containing various sizes and species, and I am still blown away. There was only one that was a bit damaged because it had been placed too close to the heat pack (and which was refunded without any hassle - even though I even told them that was not necessary giving the overall quality and the small extent of the damage). Everything else was in ridiculously pristine and healthy condition as good as - or better than - advertised. One #PhalaenopsisOrchid that was advertised as being 2 years from flowering sizes, is already developing a spike and the flowering size #oncidiumorchid s each had 7+ pseudobulbs (see pictures). So, if you love orchids and are anywhere in shipping range I can definitely recommend.

Happy Tuesday everyone! I just wanted to share a few pics of the gorgeous plants I’ve received from #ProvenWinnersDirect and tell you why I think they’re a great #PlantMailSupplier . I’ve ordered houseplants and I’ve ordered Alocasias. Here’s what I love: ✨They’ve all arrived in a quality medium, properly packaged, and with beautiful foliage. The quality soil is so awesome when they arrive but you’re not quite ready to plant! There’s no wilting, even after a month because it actually retains appropriate moisture. ✨The containers they come in are compostable and have instructions on how to easily break them and use in the soil for nutrients. ✨ The plant selections are easy to filter by type, size, zone, lighting, price, etc. ✨You’re able to pick the week you want them delivered from a list of options (based on the plant). ✨ The last awesome feature is that they process payments through Shop. So it’s easy to track what you’ve purchased, whether it’s been shipped, but also allows 4 interest free payments instead of all at once. The attached pics are straight out of the box. Each Alo had new leaves ready to unfurl! I’ve got a few more shipments coming so I’ll be sure to come back and add pics of those (for the Colocasia fans, I’ll add a screenshot in the comments of the Coffee Cups Colo that’s arriving soon! Good morning #GregGang! In the past week or so, there have been a few posts showing our creativity with naming plants and gifting. So naturally, I decided we need a group where we share ideas about plant stands, greenhouses and their setup, storage, etc. So… if this sounds like something you’d enjoy, join #PlantStorageandDecor! I have my first IKEA greenhouse coming tomorrow so I’m itching to set it up! If you’ve got one, share your setups! I’ve ordered acrylic pegboard with shelves to start. I’ll share pics when I’m done!
